Wow . . . 'Coffee Prince' is probably the first "teen girl" drama I've seen that actually feels realistic. It's suprisingly open-minded on homosexuality and women as being the "head of the house" (grandmother and Eun Chan), as well. I also like that Yoon Eun Hye is not playing the huffy damsel in distress that she has in previous roles. She does much better in a down-to-earth character like Go Eun Chan is.
Thank you again for the summary! I'm also very thankful for your grammar and in-depth explanations. Khamsahamnida~

Allo Missy! ça me fait plaisir que vouz ayez trouvé mon site. Pardonnez-moi pour les erreurs; je n'avais pas étudié le français depuis longtemps. Merci pour votre commentaire, et j'espère que vous vous amusiez ici.
(aie, le subjonctif, you kill me. :( )
and annie, do you mean where do I hear about music, or where to I physically find them? i just keep my eyes (and ears) open and try to find as much stuff worth listening to as i can. it requires a certain amount of wading through crap (or at least tons of mediocrity), though.

3 giddy episodes in a row is remarkable in kdrama series. But I don't know, a 4th one may be pushing it. But I trust Lee Sun Mi wouldn't fall into a stagnant trap. She's been doing a great job making our 4 main characters act more human as possible. You know, like "I-would've-done-the-same-thing-if-I-were-in-him/her-shoes" scenarios?
So what if this eppy is another ho-hum? In the real world I doubt if anyone gets drama on a daily basis. That would be too exhausting (even for us, as viewers). I applaud Eun Chan for being realistic in her relationship, to think that it's her first one. I admire Han Gyul for being mature and decisive about his career and love (on a side note, Gong Yoo really brought Han Gyul to life. I don't see the actor but the character instead). I'm happy with Han Sung and Yu Ju not freaking out on becoming parents, like it's natural for them to have a baby at this point in their relationship (like a ray of sunshine after the rain). I understand where grandma's alarmed state stems from. But it's more of a knee-jerk reaction I guess. I love how Han Gyul's mom still keeps her composure in the midst of all the revelations happening in her family in such a short time. And I like the fact that the dad is more open and relaxed now towards Han Gyul than ever.
Plus side stories of the other characters- the cafe princes, the sister (she may be a brat, but she's just one insecure kiddo), et al. adds to the interesting dimension of CP's storyline. It's really engaging and far from being boring. The beauty of this is that we have no idea where their stories will take us. We can have an inkling (I pray there will be no wedding scene at the end). We can throw in some possible theories. But it's best that we leave the job to writer Lee Sun Mi and the PD Lee Yoon Jung who are both excellent in their fields.
And to Javabeans, thanks again and again and again.... :)
