To my teenager self, this series is definitely very romantic. I probably felt a twinge of discomfort or two at some scenes, but it didn’t exactly bother me. And then a few years later I looked back at it and couldn’t stop shaking my head at my naive young self.
Right? I squealed along with my batch mates, but now I’m older, I see how problematic the love stories in the series are (let’s throw in Jacob-Esmee imprinting).

I enjoyed reading this, but hate that it romanticize the stakerish, obsessive behavior of Edward towards Bella; and how she disregards the warnings.
