      To be honest, the last month I’ve been obsessed with TharnType, everything, the series, the BTS, the interviews, etc – well, you understand the addiction.
      So I wasn’t sure if I was ready to watch TU for the umpteenth time – until I watched 2 videos from the Year Anniversary that someone of FB posted (I haven’t seen anywhere else yet). Cried, goosebumps from the music, well, obviously I’m ready again.
      It’s great to have 2 obsessions at the same time. Joy and peace.

    You mean I have to watch it an 11th time?? –I’m in. And will be watching it along with my friend, who’s only just become obsessed. She’s only on her 3rd time. But it’s 3 times in one month! She calls every day with questions.

      I tried getting a friend to start it back in January but she just couldn’t keep up with the subs, and had so many questions. She finally gave up.

      3 times in one month! Well that is a record…
      So lucky you to have a RL friend to talk with about this.

      I’m now on my second watch of the Special Edition – I honestly don’t know how many times I’ve watched it on Viki.
      sigh – thank goodness there are others like me.

        It was actually my friend’s second try. She tried last year and gave up, but was willing to try again. I told her to skip the first 2 episodes and just start with the 3rd episode. That worked.

          That is what I told my friend. Just get through the first three episodes..
          but she couldn’t understand why they gave up their swords when they were all forced to train under Wen Chao. She thought they all had the same powers. I just said “keep watching it will all make sense later’.
          But she works in a memory care place for people with dementia as an activities director and is too exhausted to read the subtitles when she gets home.
          I do not push it. What she is doing is waaaaaaaayyyy more important then Wei Wuxian and Lan Zhi.

          Can I just say here that I HATE this COVID virus?

            You and everyone else on earth, except for the selfish people who think wearing a mask will infringe on their freedom (the gov’t can’t tell me what to do!) and besides, they’re not going to get it anyway, so who cares about those wimpy people who are afraid.
