Nam Sang-mi, who recently wrapped her latest drama Gourmet, departs from her usual innocent image and goes a little sexier for the October issue of Ecole Luxe magazine.
The photo spread takes the title “Prim, Punk Girl, Sexy Star… Nam Sang-mi is Free.” (Um, okay.) The new photos show off her “chameleon-like” ability to take on a variety of differing looks based on makeup styling over the eight-page spread. (I think she looks gorgeous, but whoever styled the shoot failed miserably at realizing “prim” and “punk.” Or at least they did if that bowler hat is what qualifies as punk, and Flashdance-era sweatshirts paired with lace leggings = prim.)
After finishing the lengthy filming process for Gourmet (the drama filmed for approximately a year, having started far in advance of its broadcast date), Nam Sang-mi plans to spend some time resting and recharging before getting back to her busy schedule.

did they mean prim in glasses, punk in purple eye shadow & sexy in a bowler hat? i like the look w/ the hat the best…she looks very cool…
not to say NSM is turning skanky on us…but it almost seems inevitable as actresses mature that they end up cranking up the sexy factor…like yoon eun hye’s lingerie spread…that was tres shocking…
but NSM looks very hip & stylish here…really pretty & not trashy at all…

thats talent for yeahhh… beautiful, versatile, a competent actress…. she’s totally the whole package… unlike others who depend solely on their pretty looks…

I’m not convinced she doesn’t. I think she’s likable and appealing in lighter roles, but I thought she was borderline atrocious in Time of Dog and Wolf.

She is indeed pretty.
The styling does suck though. Prim, punk and sexy does not fit the category for what she’s wearing at all. Oh well. People can just stare at her, lol.

Nam Sang Mi and Kim Rae Won look so compatible as couple in ‘Gourmet’. I wish their relationship can be further developed in real life. It will be good to have a sequel to ‘Gourmet’ when two of them can act as wedded couple.
