Fans anticipate Chun Jung-myung’s upcoming army discharge
Yay! With so many twentysomething actors heading off for military service, it’s always nice to see others finishing up and heading back. I’m especially excited to see Chun Jung-myung returning to civilian status this month, and fans are starting to prepare their welcome when he is discharged on November 27.
Chun enlisted on January 2, 2008, and has served in active duty for the past 22 months. A source from his fan club explained their plans to meet the star upon his release, with some fans even planning on flying in from overseas. They are preparing gifts, banners, and signs for the occasion, which coincides with Chun’s birthday, as the star turns 30 two days after his discharge.
I fell in love with Chun Jung-myung’s acting in dramas like What’s Up Fox and Goodbye Solo. (Other titles on his resume: Fashion ’70s, Hansel and Gretel, The Aggressives.) He can act with intensity and maturity in a way that belies his baby face, but also has a lovable playful side. Can’t wait to see what he does next.

He’s a great actor to me. He DOES have that great acting ability to be so mature with that baby face. That’s what I loved about What’s Up Fox. He could portray such a mature guy for being so young and in love with an older woman.

whee! and i was just thinking about him. Last night, because i was despondent over not catching english subs for Smile, You, I started on “What’s up Fox” Omigulay, if I didn’t have to go to work today, I would still be up marathoning the series. Sadly, real life cannot be put off.
He was wonderful in What’s up, Fox. And so was the leading lady.

perfect for that role, and made the series fun to watch.
Now with his military service finished, he should be able to expand
the types of roles that his military training now qualifies him to do.

i fell in love with this guy in what’s up fox. and now, watching him in goodbye solo, i think he does an amazing job to disappear into character. i’m glad there are ppl who have the same feeling as me! such cuteness! such hotness! such body! such smile! i hope he quickly gets a new drama penned by a great writer!
