Do you really want us to go into the whole yaoi phenomenon? Slash particularly slash fanfic is a staple of the fan universe from the days of K/S (and yes, I AM that old and know a K/S writer from those days). Do a quick wiki on yaoi and you'll find out more than you need to know.
In this case, in the context of the show, it's just a hysterically wild improbable event - just imagining any sequence of events that could lead to it has us jumping up and down and going - MUST SEE!

LOL! K/S is Kirk slash Spock - honestly somewhere out there there is an English PhD waiting to be written on the origins of fanfic and slash in general, but I think K/S is probably where it jumped into fan awareness because the fanfic base for ST was huge in those dark days between OS and TNG.

I am so clueless :-) I keep reading bromance and always wondered what was it all about.
I just realized now that because of our human limitations much as we would want to have foresight, insight, hindsight and all sorts of sight :-) we can only see what we want to see. And what we see is just an overflow of what is already in our hearts and in our minds. Just my humble in/fore/hind sight...and even this is much much lacking :-)

I don't want to get into this - so just to keep it simple....
Just like men can find two (attractive) women kissing a turn on... so can women find two (attractive) men kissing to be sexy/hot/etc. Throw on top of that the taboos behind it and it generally makes for a more dramatic situation (in certain storylines) than normal heterosexual romance... and, as a female, I enjoy a good dramatic angsty romance that culminates into strong physical passion. Aherm.
And lastly, so you're saying that if your homosexual friends didn't have a hard time in life you'd be okay with it? ... I'm not going to get into the debate as to whether that "lifestyle" is a "choice" or not... but at the end of the day it shouldn't matter whether it's a man or woman making out (or two of the same gender)... I guess it's weird enough that people (men and women) have voyeuristic enough tendencies to enjoy it. LOL

Uh, look, don't want to get into this because an internet thread such as this is no place for an off-topic, meaningful discussion about homosexuality, BUT I think you need to get a few facts about homosexuality straight. Homosexuals, (male and female) do not necessarily believe that they are girls or boys trapped in the opposite gender's body. The fact is that they just happen to be attracted to people of the same gender. I think you might be getting homosexuality confused with transgender. It may not mean a lot to you, but these are terms which mean a lot to other people - particularly homosexual and transgender people. It is a huge part of their lives, and I think that it is respectful to be aware of appropriateness of both these terms.

No, but if it was an "accidental" kiss, then it probably went something like this:
Ra-im is stuck in Joo-won's body, making her Ra-Him, and Oska doesn't know. Oska goes in to fix Ra-Him's jacket, hence the whole hands on waist thing. Ra-Him can't stand how close Oska is and goes in for the kill!
.. Oh, but then it wouldn't be accidental. It would just be Ra-Him taking a good opportunity. Good for her!
I'm sure the actors had a lot of fun filming this scene; the sound guy sure did.

Sorry, I can appreciate some boy on boy action, but I can tolerate any form of incest, they are blood relate two sisters children.
