Yoon Eun-hye's character is almost as annoying as the anime version of the female lead in Itazura na Kiss- psycho stalker. This drama is totally lame.

I just love to see when FanGirls are crying. full of enjoyment!

i just read on of the alternative recaps of LTM as suggested by one of the posters above....it just does not compare to the fun and very entertaining recaps of JB and GF.

no insights at all, just a very dry "blow by blow account" of what was seen on the screen. main characters are referred to by initials, and minor ones are referred to as "the friend of..." or "the lady in the ..." so how do readers relate to such kind of a recap?

am surely gonna miss JB/GF style of recapping....

BTW, do you have any plans also of dropping BEST LOVE and CITY HUNTER in the coming weeks?

cause if you do, i might as well not get in too deep in my attachment to your recaps....

gosh. i really like yoon eun-hye, ever since 'Goong' (my first ever kdrama addiction!!).

if i were a bilingual (english-korean) who has access to lie to me episodes, i'd recap them myself, but i don't T.T

anyways i also adore Yoochunnie (T.T DBSK, miss them, ALL of them). i've been a big fan of Lee Da-Hae because of 'My Girl,' and i don't really care about the rumors, so i would totally follow the 'Goodbye Miss Ripley' recaps.

JB, im a solid Dramabeans fan, since I was 14 (wa, around 5 years now). I can't believe it, it's the first time i've ever commented here, so sorry...

you're a great writer and real fun and cool, but yeah, i understand recapping too many dramas is physically impossible, even with GF (who's also real fun and cool) to help you, and all the wonderful recappers who drop by to help.

all i really want to say is, thank you for whatever you recap, that's your decision, and as cassies say, always keep the faith.

i also agree with having someone else recap it. if that was a voting option, i would have chosen that over an open thread.

I am all for the continuation of recapping Lie To Me.
I understand due to time constraints and you need to sleep that you can't,

BUT can you please recap it in batchs like what you did with Baby Faced Beauty this week.

I agree LTM doesn't really need a recap--not really meaty at all although I love love all the actors in here.

emm..kinda dissapointed cuz u have done it half way,though the progress of drama not doin so well but still... hope u guys can rethink..

so sad that JB and GF dropped this off...usually the first thing i do before surfing the net is to check on updates about LTM but hoping you will reconsider..will respect whatever decision...thanks and more power...

It may be a crap to you, but NOT every one hates it... We all have our own personal tastes when it comes to where the story is heading or how it was written. And I for one, respect your opinion when you say your opinion. But for the sake of others who like & love watching it, please continue what you've started, how sarcastic it may be... And I'll be thanking you a hundred fold! ^_^

Hmm. I can't blame you guys for dropping the Lie to me recaps. There isn't much to analyze with that drama. All fluff, no substance.

Miss Ripley has a lot more to offer. It doesn't have to rely on hot make out sessions to bring in the viewers.

I totally understand why...LOL...Lie to me is so idk...boring to me...tried watching it to ep. 3, but I just lost the interest in watching it... I thought Miss Ripley Ep. 1 was awesome, so Im waiting for more...

It's totally understandable if javabbeans and girlfriday wants to drop it cuz it's pretty obvious that they have a life of their own and are currently recapping so many dramas at the same time! I would totally drop the one that has lost my interest too...

It is very difficult to invest your time on something when u cannot connect to it, feel for it. Same for Lee da hae, she must have a schedule tight enough for her capacity to drop a show or a character she can't feel for to quit a show..

I'm a little bummed out because I'd take Kang Ji Wan and Yoon Eun Hye any day over Lee Da Hee.

Honestly, when a drama is too boring to watch, it must be a lot harder to recap .It is good of you to ask our opinions,but you should decide on what is best for the two of you and whether it is fun any more. Thanks for your work on recapping all the dramas that you do.

sure enough doing recaps entails effort, time and interest. although, our writers might have changed their perspective its good that they did it earlier. Guys thank you very much for the posted recaps! ^_^

WOW this is a Revolution going on here srly LTM Revolution... guys we need to relaxed, I mean some commets are far out and very rude we all need to sit back and take a chill pill for real, cause really based on how the poll is going JB and GF might end up recapping LTM after all, and if not we have Koala who does a great a job on recapping LTM also, so really no biggie here....

But wow wow I'm just amazed how out of control this has become...the girls have a rite to choose whatever they want its their site and we should be glad and gracious to the fact both JB and GF are give us the fans the option to speak out, some other site would have just stop recapping LTM all together with no fare warning....sooo thanks again JB and GF for that chance...

aw, I really love this drama. Oh well, but I don't know that a thread is necessary because most people will just go read reviews and things on other blogs. The point of coming here is the fun recaps. Just my opinion though.

So disappointed that you just drop it when so many of us are coming here without fail waiting for it but its your web so blog what you wish to. But I don't think a thread is neccessary because we won't even know what happened without the recaps. And even if we go to other blogs to read them, we can discuss it there. There will be no more need for it here. And if we have to wait for days to watch the eng sub, we might as well discuss it on the web. You don't have to open a thread.

I totally understand why you dropped it... and for any other drama like it I might have done the same by now (My Princess for example), but for some reason that defies logic... I am completely taken by this drama. An LTM thread would be awesome. But I believe someone suggested a guest recapper... seriously whoever is up for it... PLEASE!

I read before the Lee Dae Hee quit 2 of her tv drama in the middle of the broadcast. I hope she will not quit this drama...lol...

After reading all these comments - I think the open thread is the best idea since everyone can make comments on the drama like they do here.

I'm one of the biggest LTM fans out there but even I don't personally care if you recap or not since it's your decision! These things take so much time. I hope people understand. Why ask them to do something that they no longer have as much passion for? it's best to save it for another drama like Ripley.

People/LTM fans - as mentioned, there are other blogs out there with recaps and even though the writing style isn't the same, they have a lot of passion for the "drama".

honestly, I am really sad you will no longer be re-capping this drama...it's one of the only 2 I am watching right now (also watching The Greatest Love) I think it has so much going for it and the fun is just starting...so not sure why you are ending it. But I respect your decision as well. Thanks for letting us vote on an open thread, although I wish we had been able to vote on keeping it in the re-cap loop :( I have no intentions of watching the Mrs. Ripley one at all...

well, I will miss your recaps. As a non-korean kdrama fan I rely on your recaps to help me catch the nuances of a show that I would otherwise miss such a like when characters switch to bandmal (sp?) and the puns (mostly with greatest love). And it is likely that I will not watch Ripley. I am not much of a melodrama fan. However, I can understand. I am having a hard time just keeping up with watching the three dramas I am watching right now, I can't imagine recapping them.

I, personally, will not be reading a Lie to Me open thread...it wouldn't serve the same puprose as a recap for me and would be less pithy and useful for me. Those are my thoughts for whatever they are worth.

Does everybody need JB & GF to hold their hands while watching a Kdrama? I'm still going to watch LTM and I would read the recaps if available... but there are other Kdramas I watch that are not recapped.

bottom line... I don't NEED recaps if i really want to watch a KDrama... heck I'll even watch it Raw and faithfully wait for subs.

This is a sad day. Although, I must admit I wasn't surprised when I started to read that they were enjoying City Hunter and Miss Ripley. I'm still enjoying Lie To Me myself, but I do see the flaws and if they were going to drop one, I can understand. It's just a testament to the poor poor writing that has riddled LTM and a waste of KJH and YEH. Although it's looking up, I can't say this decision was surprising. I'm sad about it, but upward and onward. =)

Are you guys still watching it and not recapping it? I'd like to see what you have to say when it's done. Kinda like an overview of the whole thing...?

I agree with what someone mentioned before. If you find that you are not a big fan of Miss Ripley, bring back Lie to Me :) I will be happy to read your re-caps!

Wow I was reading comments (which have multiplied 5x fold while I was sleeping) and people really need to chill. Do people really need the recaps to watch a drama, I mean seriously you can enjoy a drama without the recaps. Lie to me is subbed online so its not like you need the recaps to get whats going on. Girlfriday and Javabeans have lives of their owns, heck I work full-time and I barely have time to watch one drama yet alone watch multiple dramas and recap them. If they are not feeling a drama, why on earth should they take the time out of their already time-crunched lives to recap and watch something that doesn't interest them just because us the readers want it. Remember everyone they don't have to recap, they recap because they like to talk about dramas that interest them and it just so happens that we like to read them. I personally love their recaps because of the analysis but there really isn't anything to analyze in this drama.

I for once would love LTM recap and a place to share my two cents on the drama. I have come to love the drama a lot and really really think recapping it would be awesome:) The story is really good. I mean it keeps me off worries~ And romantic comedy is great:) I just can't wait for other episodes to come out~

Well, if you are reading this javabeans and girlfriday, I'd love to guest recap this. I have enough time to watch, screencap, and write out recaps in the forseeable future. I am extremely new to this, as I have no blog or anything similar. As for my style of writing, the best I can describe it is by saying that I always have a very particular choice of words. I really love kdramas and I am familiar with many cultures, hence I tend to have an open-minded and critical view on many issues, which might give my comments a bit more spice. Ahh.. the inevitable just happened.. The thing I was most afraid of!! Because I work a lot nowadays, I can't watch the actual show during work (especially when I am lazy and don't want to do what I get paid to do)... so I sneak into Dramabeans to read the recaps, and giggle in silence in my cubicle (inside, I am LOLing). I will surely miss your recaps of LTM. I am watching the video now with the subs but I do miss your recaps. Think of me, dying under the workload and reconsider recapping this series again!! The Cola kiss was hot indeed. But who's responsible for the lighting? I could not see the actors' face during half of the sequence. :(
