Yoon Kyun-sang joins Ha Ji-won’s The Time I’ve Loved You

Oh yay, I love this up-and-coming actor, and I’m so happy to see him getting bigger roles. Yoon Kyun-sang got his breakthrough in last year’s Pinocchio as Lee Jong-seok’s tortured and broody brother, earning him lots of attention as a supporting actor and rising star. He made his debut in Faith as one of the Brodalchi, and worked with Pinocchio’s PD Jo Soo-won previously in Gap-dong. The director has apparently really taken a shine to this guy (who can blame him), because he’s called him back for a third collaboration in his new project, The Time I’ve Loved You, 7000 Days.

The new romantic comedy for SBS is a remake of the hit Taiwanese drama In Time With You, and stars Ha Ji-won (Empress Ki) and Lee Jin-wook (Three Musketeers) as best friends of twenty years who keep getting their wires crossed and dating other people. A pact to start looking for marriage partners in their thirties sends them on the hunt for that perfect person, which naturally leads them right back to square one. Because drama heroes just gotta do everything the hard way.

Yoon Kyun-sang has joined the cast as a third-generation chaebol with the perfect personality and looks, who keeps his identity hidden. Is it because you want to find someone to love you for yourself and not your buckets of money? Because I think I have a good match for you.

I really liked this actor’s intensity as a dark wounded character in Pinocchio, so I don’t know if Mr. Perfect will actually be a little boring in comparison. But he’s a hungry rookie actor who I’m sure will make the most of what he’s given.

The Time I’ve Loved You, 7000 Days follows Divorce Lawyer in Love on Saturdays and Sundays in June.

Awesome news!!!!

The drama just became interesting for me finally.

Lee Jin Wook Does nothing for me.

And Ha Ji Won Is so so depending on the role she plays.

But now I finally have a reason to watch this high profile drama.

Haha I was thinking the same thing.

So.. Is he the second male lead?

Love this guy! Things are shaping up nicely for this one. And I was already really excited for it :) Love the cast, love the original.

I could love this one even more if it's done right, just because I'm so fond of the lead pairing already.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw this: "OHMYGOD. It's Hyung!"
Loved loved loved him for breaking my heart in Pinocchio. He could do it a hundred times again and I still wouldn't complain. I hope he gets a lot more meatier roles after this. Fingers crossed!

I hope they don't screw this up, cause his character doesn't match any of the characters in In Time With You. Sunny Wang's character is crucial to the plot and I hope they haven't cast this guy as him. He doesn't fit, nor does the character description.

I name it.
1. School 2013
2. I Hear Your Voice
3. Bad Guys

And maybe some others that I don't remember.

I actually think he could be Nic. With a twist to make it Korean. All Korean drama's must have a chaebol character apparently.

I think he might play the role of NIC too. LOL on the chaebol comment

They are definitely changing around the storyline a bit, as he's a new character, and there's still no news on who plays Sunny's character. I feel like this drama basically hinges on the quality of the writing. Unfortunately, the writer doesn't inspire much confidence, so I hope she doesn't destroy this stellar cast and the memory of my favorite drama...

Who does he play from the Taiwanese version? I can't remember a rich, perfect character with a secret. Hyung was so memorable in Pinocchio that the writers even extended his scenes. I'm so happy his talent is getting recognized.

LOL@all the chaebol comments above. I was pretty much asking the same thing - who the heck is he playing from the Taiwanese version!? So I scrolled down to the comments section straight thinking I'd missed something, only to find everyone else equally puzzled, haha!

But, it just hit me - wasn't the store manager, that Yo-Ching worked for in the drama, (Henry, played by Jerry Huang) a rich guy? I don't think it's Nic, but I hope they find a good character to play him, if they keep to the original that is!

I just hope it's not Sunny Wang's character he's playing, because as someone already posted, he really doesn't suit the character! But you never know, I guess.

I was just wondering where he's been hiding. I don't mind the chaebol roles for now, since he needs his name out there. But I do hope he gets a good script to work with, an meatier roles in the future! Yey!

Hyuuuuung!

I suppose this round won't make me cry as hard as his role in Pinocchio, but I am so glad to see him getting more work/getting promoted to second lead. AND he's done with the military, so we get to enjoy him uninterrupted by any disruptions!

Yaaaay! I can't wait. This cast is looking better and better. Hope the writer doesn't wreck what is essentially a shovel ready kit for an awesome drama: the template of the original drama, plus wonderful actors (Ha Ji Won!). When is this one set to air?

Something to look forward to in June! :) looks like Hyung will be the third wheel though... :(

With his performance in Pinocchio (and because he is cute too), he could pull off a lead, I think.

hmm.. I'm puzzled about his character description. Like other people said, it really does not fit any of the existing characters in the Taiwan version.

He could play a good Nic, but I don't see how it would make sense to make his character a hidden chaebol. The whole point about Nic was that he was greedy and wanted to progress in his career whichever way possible. This 'hidden chaebol' description seems to indicate the complete opposite.
