This month’s spread for Allure Korea features the likes of Lee Sang-yoon (Twenty Again), Bae Jong-ok (Monster), Han Seung-yeon (Secret Love), Oh Min-seok (Please, Mom), Kim Jin-woo (Remember—Son’s War), and Wang Ji-won (Divorce Lawyer in Love), for a Go Green campaign promoting environmental awareness.

In the accompanying article, each actor talks about the contributions they make, however small, toward building a better tomorrow. I find the pictorial pretty in its simplicity, and while it’s great that Lee Sang-yoon is against wastefulness, it will be a waste of his talents if there’s not a Liar Game 2 somewhere in the future. No, I’ll never give up hope. Don’t kill my dreams! (Or the planet!)

From Soompi yesterday:

"During an interview that took place on March 30, the actor [Lee Sang yoon] said, “The director, the writer, and all the original actors are hoping to appear again in ‘Liar Game 2.’ We even picked out our first filming site already. The writer is busy with another project so we’re discussing filming ['Liar Game 2'] either late this year or early next year. Of course, there’s always the possibility of not being able to film it. I think all the actors need to appear again in this drama."

So, it's not a fat yes, but at least it is a not-not :) . Have started counting the days for the actual announcement...

I needed a Liar Game 2 like, yesterday lol but I'm so glad that everyone is keen on the idea and that they really want to make it happen! I hope they succeed! ;;;;

If I had it my way then Lee Sang Yoon would have the look/style of his Liar Game character for the rest of his career.

Ok, so the prolific [re]use of doilies make me want to see a gritty anti-spread. Using famously type cast gangster and chaebol actors as the models. Mixing the young and old; and the modern with (their) ghostly Joseon era equivalents.

And with Liar Game as the meta concept.?

They really should do a Liar Game season 2 as the original also had two seasons (and a movie). There is still material to work with so as long as they make their villain's storyline cohesive as that was the only major change, I think they'd be good and have another hit.

I actually liked his old hair.....

Loved him in Angel Eyes. But I do like his new hair more. I'd watch Liar Game but I have a tendency to not watch adaptations of what I read(loved the manga). I'll break it for LG haha.

I'm currently on ep 8 of Pied Piper and is very good! Granted not as amazing as Signal but it's still a great drama, that's why I don't understand why it's not doing well...probably because there's no 'flower boys' or idols on this drama..

Ah, well, I've learnt not to try and understand Korean audiences; that's a relief :) . Signal is good, but I am finding the first half a little too intensely melodramatic; if Pied Piper is a little more superficial and less tragic, I'm in. Thanks :)
