Lee Moo-saeng joins cast of A Couple’s World
by tineybeanie
Lee Moo-saeng (Melting Me Softly) has announced his next project, A Couple’s World. This drama is about how a couple’s bond turns from love to betrayal and its slow descent into a spiral of revenge. Currently Kim Hee-ae (Second to Last Love), Park Hae-joon (Arthdal Chronicles), and Park Seon-young (Marry Me Now) have all confirmed their roles in the drama.
For A Couple’s World, Lee Moo-saeng plays a gentle and intellectual psychiatrist named Kim Yoon-ki who works at the same hospital as the main protagonist Ji Seon-woo, played by Kim Hee-ae. She is a family medicine doctor who has seemingly succeeded both her home life and career.
All that comes crashing down when she learns of her husband’s unfaithfulness; her husband is to be played by Park Hae-joon. As a constant presence in Ji Seon-woo’s life, without meaning to, Kim Yoon-ki becomes a safe emotional refuge for her.
Upcoming Friday-Saturday JTBC drama A Couple’s World will begin airing in the first half of 2020.

I just finished watching One Spring Night and so my gut reaction to Lee Moo-saeng is that I want to punch him in the face. He played the smarmy, evil husband so well that I'm having trouble thinking of him as a gentle psychiatrist. But honestly, he was great in One Spring Night so it would be interesting to see him play a character who is that ones polar opposite.

You should watch him in Designated Survivor, he was really cute, the opposite of his One Spring Night's character.

I had the same reaction when I watched him in Designated Survivor right after seeing him in One Spring Night. I kept waiting for him to do something super creepy! Now, though, I have a bit of a crush on him. I hope he gets to be the nice guy who gets the girl this time.

Ok, a plot that revolves on falling out of love, due to betrayal and "its slow descent into a spiral of revenge", no, thank you! 😒
I really hate revenge plots.
Nevertheless, of course, for those enjoying the cast, I hope they will have satisfaction with this show. 👍

I literally only just realized this instant that Prof Jo in MMS is the same guy as the evil dentist husband in One Spring Night! *mind blown*

Not only was in the dentist, he was also the weasel cop in Heartless City.

I remember him in HC only because he shares the iconic “white pants” scene with Soo.

Hahaha! I haven't seen Heartless City, yet, so out of curiosity I just googled "heartless city white pants" and up popped this Ode to Soo and his magnificent wardrobe - including a picture of the "white pants." I'm not sure how you even noticed who shared this scene with him...
