Two mins. in and I get the feeling that Black Knight is going to be terrible. I was really looking for a good supernatural drama. Guess I’ll have to wait for Hwayugi, fingers crossed!
Yep! At least Temperature of Love had a good start, but this one went down the drain pretty fast.
Vivid proof that exotic places, and a yet-to-be-revealed mystery cannot save something from bad directing, dumb script, aweful lead chemistry, and outreagous music queues … seriously! ><
@fay17 Glad it’s not only me. I managed to finish 1 ep, but didn’t bother to continue. K-dramas, please. If you have the budget to film abroad, please do it significantly and properly. I mean, KRW lives in Slovenia but he rarely talks in local language and even worse he talks in Korean? It’s so awkward and hard to enjoy despite the beauty.
I really hope Hwayugi won’t be a flop. My first love’s comeback has to be awesome!!
Lol yeah, they shoot abroad to create a grand impression, but I feel like it wasn’t necessary plot-wise, and the story is kind of all over the place. And the OTP meeting everywhere is happening too often to call it a coincidence. :/ Seems like goblin opened a new door for fantasy dramas lol.
Well, I’m happy that K-drama producers seem to get many offers on collaborating with other countries to promote tourism. I think that’s a good approach and certainly effective. The problem is that setting the story abroad doesn’t necessarily make the story good, which quickly burns viewers like us who have seen great dramas with and without international setting. I don’t have enough info to say that it feels like Goblin as some other people say, though. LOL OTP meeting everywhere sounds like stalking to me!
I said it feels like goblin haha. I can’t point it out but it does seem to me that it’s a mixed up of lots of fantasy elements picked from various dramas. Just my feeling of course. But even that’s not a problem. I am not a fan of SSK and her acting doesn’t really bode well with me, I think with any other actress it may have been great. :/ And yeah agree with what you said regarding international shoot location.
A few of my friends also say that, hahaha! No worries. I think you have a point that the drama mixed up too many elements. It would have been better if it opens up layers one by one.

I’m putting my hope on Hwayugi too.
I watched part of BK but it was boring. I’m surprised at its rating tbh.

Wow! At least I survived 7 mins! Hwayugi will be a blast. The teasers seem really good without giving much insight into the story which I prefer.
