I have since… watched this video again, and done some stalking, because I really wanted to know where this was filmed exactly, and if it was where I thought it might, or if it was somewhere in the North Island that I should know but don’t…
Turns out it’s not the South Island, although that’s not in retrospect that shocking, it’d be much cheaper and easier for them to fly in and out of Auckland, go to the beaches and hills around there and not worry about trying to get to obscure Southland locations.

I was figuring Australia, but even cooler that it’s actually NZ!!! I didn’t pay attention to the credits.
I am loving the styling, it’s kinda different from what we have gotten before. I swear Solar could play Deanerys lol.
