Turns out that answering this question wasn’t was easy as I thought at first because there aren’t that many good dad’s that I can think of–and I went through my entire watchlist over at MyDramaList.

      Dad:

Park Dong Hoon, My Ajusshi. Not without his flaws, but he thinks of this family and tries his utmost.

Shin Myeong Ho, Oh My Ghostees. I gelt badly for him when he found out the truth and he had a ton of patience with this son.

      Grandpa:

Park Geun Hyung, Panda and Hedgehog. He was pure unconditional love.

Yes I agree on Park Dong Hoon – he does try his best. Although I watched Oh My Ghostess, I don’t seem to recall who Shin Myeong Ho is……oh well google time….

I will be shameless and jump in and say Park Mi Young’s dad in Healer (sorry can’t remember his or her name in the show) and the dad in the weekender What Happens to My Family. Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo’s dad also deserves a mention. And also the dads in Reply 1988 – I guess I don’t have an absolute favorite hee…hee…

      How’s about you?

Taek’s Dad in R1988 played by the awesome Choi Moo Sung. Ahn Gil Kang was also superb father in WFKBJ and Tomorrow Cantabile.

Oh yes, I adore Taek’s dad – he is the stoic and quiet sort but such a marshmallow inside.

My absolute favorite drama Dad is from a Japanese dorama – Tonbi. Highly recommended to anyone that wants to watch a family show. ^^

I liked the father in Cinderella’s Step Sister a lot.
He was not demonstrative, but he saw everything and loved his whole family without reservation…

I didn’t watch Cinderella’s Step Sister but I’m sure your choice is excellent! 👍🏼
