starting new work next month. kinda in chicken out mood right now in case i cant perform at work. i leave librarian works like 2 years ago. i cant even remember anything what i learn, OUCH!!! @librarianerin and fellow library staffs here, please soothe my worries. i really feel that dooms awaits for me in few weeks time 😱
In my experience, the first day was always the worst for me because I felt like I didn’t know anything. After that it always became easier since you become more comfortable with the job and with your co-workers.
Is it a public library job? And is it full-time?
I’ve been a part-timer since I started working in the profession, and I have all sorts of worries about full-time work. I also don’t want to be the newbie at a new workplace. I am comfortable where I am right now, but it cannot be this way forever.
