Really loving The Crowned Clown! It’s one of those rare saeguks where both the romance and the court intrigue are well-done. Too much dumb politics, you’ll have a boring show, too much fluffy romance and you have no stake (e.g. Moon embraced by the sun, Love in the moonlight). It’s also one of those instances where there’s no acting hole, and the main couple is neck to neck in acting gravitas.My only minor complaint is, I don’t know what tvn’s game is by making the eps so long…but that means I can split up the eps to watch over 4 days 😛 Hope this show keeps up the quality till the end!
The acting is good, and the politics dont bore me… (yet). Yeo Jin Goo is amazing as both characters that you forget he plays both. Lee Se Young is so elegant as the queen. but be careful…. it gets dark at the beginning
On Yeo Jin-gu, I totally agree! He does such a good job playing both characters that when he’s the king he even manages to look older than when he is the clown pretending to be king.

The length is exactly why I can’t seem to pick it back up, even though I really liked the first 2 eps!

If it helps, the running time actually keeps getting shorter each episode. 😀
