💀 As terrible as this sounds, I really do wanna see a romance between our leads. Because idk if I can handle another show where JKY just stares at the girl for oh idk the entire thing?
Plus it would be one heck of a forbidden romance.
And it would end tragically. Probably. And therefore gloriously. Imagine the hurt! The betrayal! The tears!
And I’m here for that ye ken. Gimme what HMS chickened out on!!! (Just the murderer part that is. Not the incest.)

Previously show, you have not been an attempted psychological commentary on what makes a killer; I’m not sure I want you to start now. Stick to clones, wolf children, action scenes and forbidden romances. Because,obviously, those are… so much better… Uhm. Yes.

Literally the first thing that popped into my head was “who’d he have sex with? And when? And how? He has no social skills??”
Was it comfort sex? Did he love her? Was it a one night stand? Did she save him? Or is Seul Gi his clone daughter? Sperm donor? Alien mutant child?

EDIT: ASssahh! Artificial insemination eh. So maybe a sperm switcheroo? Wait that doesn’t make sense either. Alien mutant child is much better yes.

💀 I love how *cracks up laughing* I love how she sits in a café ALL DAY FOR HIM. And then he comes in and she stares at him like he’s Jack and she’s Rose. And then this swelling music plays and I *😂* I can’t… like the love story just writes itself man!

💀 This show is wack man.
Like it has… The bones of a really intricate and good plot.
Creepy orphanage, dead numbered children (probably alien wolf clone children), stolen identities, a LONG hit list, a hit man who was an alien wolf child working for a spurned business partner who wants revenge, but also looking for his past, who is also being hunted by a ballet detective, who was a stolen child by the bad bad guy, who is also wolf boy’s childhood lover friend (the detective not the bad guy).
Also the wolf boy has a daughter (?) who is the sole witness to the ballet detective’s friend’s (?) death and is the grandchild (“”) of… Idk… who was she the “grandchild” of again?
Basically. It COULD be a cool (albiet convoluted and probably with too many sub threads) plot. But it’s just like… a jangling mess *imagine a jester jangling miserably across the floor because he forgot how to juggle*.
And wolf boy, or should I call him cat boy – dammit even the symbolism isn’t consistent!!! – doesn’t have enough LINES.

💀 Basically I think the writing has some potential (or it has something anyway) but the directing is a mess and the editing is also a mess and I wish it was in the hands of the Healer team or something.
Jang Ki Yong, you gloriously tall bastard, you deserve more!!!

    Looking forward to episode 6. I still can’t figure what’s wrong with this show. The beauty of JKY has been quite distracting though.

    Ballerina detective…I still don’t like her character too much. Why you gotta give her a pretty nickname?

    At first I thought scientist guy was talking about Seo Hyun and Seulgi when he said “Does 88 know he’s living with his own daughter”. But I think it’s a translation mistake, and the doctor meant “If 88 (SeoHyun) knows he is living with his (HyeoJin’s father) daughter (HyeoJin),” since they’re talking about SeoHyun’s father before that, who I assume is HyeoJin’s adoptive father. It’s a mess, regardless lol I really like the plot though, even though the execution is a mess.

      OHhhhhhh! That would make SO MUCH MORE SENSE. I was having a pretty hard time working out how Seulgi was SH’s daughter hahahahah. Admittedly, her being his clone daughter would be a pretty cool twist, but… Also super weird. Cos there’s only nine years between them (I think).
      But eh, HJ being the ” adopted” daughter of evil dude, who might be SH’s father … Idk we already knew that so it’s not as fun! Oh well hahaha

    Have I told you that I love your sh*tpost, Sic? I was basically laughing my head off when watching this eps. I don’t know how they can turn a potentially dark and disturbing plot into something ridiculously makjang, but there it is. At least from the BTS videos, everyone seemed to be enjoying it just as much as I’m loving this hot mess. I just need this show to continue to be absurdly entertaining till the end (so that you can write more of this sh*tpost 😜😜).
