This is bad. How did I end up watching 5 episodes of Put Your Head On My Shoulderin one go? At this rate, I will be all caught up and waiting for new eps!

Youth dramas, rom coms are not my thing so I am surprised at how much I like this one. For one, it makes me laugh out loud. The leads are adorable and yet more mature like many rom com characters I’ve come across.

I also realized years of kdramas have conditioned me to not expect the hero to dial for an ambulance! Maybe hospitals in China are too far away? Or the Koreans just have stronger backs and legs!

    You know what else I love? The show touches on birth control and menstruation and make them funny in a non-cringey way (at least for me as a viewer)!!

          I mean it is not that they are having frank conversations about sex, but at least the drama is not pretending that all these things don’t exist, especially when a man and a woman cohabitate!

          Another example: she was embarrassed and didn’t want him to go into the bathroom right after she finished her business! That is a REAL thing we can all relate! 🤣

            And can we talk about the “other” bra scene now that I remember?!!!!!!!! He got so shook he threw in her toothbrush in the basin, but once he got his thoughts organized, gentleman as he is, offered her to choose a new one……… “a new one” but she grabbed them all. Huehehehhehehehehehe.

      I am at ep 6 now so I don’t think I’ve seen that part on birth control. What stood out for me were the conversations Wei Yi, Mo Mo and Fu Pei had. This could have easily been a love triangle with all the silly tropes.

    On the ambulance – Huehehheheh that’s one of the many things adore about our Wei Yi! The hero who doesn’t wear capes but he’s quick and he does think! If he doesn’t know the answer, google! 😅 I hope we see more of his practical and realistic but still unconventional acts!

      Honestly I was shocked at how calm he was. This type of scene would usually have the hero screaming the girl’s name, haul her onto his back and run all the way to the hospital. All the while, shouting at her to hang on! I can literally see it in my mind.

        Lolololol nope he got is unorthodox though and through. 😆😆 He was breathing hard tho so we know he was panicking on the inside.
