(And I got a perfectly delicious melancholy feeling while watching it. The way itโs shot, along with the music and pitter-patter of the rain complement each other to make a lovely, cohesive atmosphere.)
I too like the sound and the melancholy feeling, but I kept thinking something would happen that would tell me what I’m watching.
Maybe scroll across a sign or something to give a little context. You showed several shots of people who help others, but I still didn’t see the point.
I like how you used the coming into focus from the bokeh, but I think you might want to do it a wee bit faster.
Overall I think you did well to describe a mood with the lighting, sound, and music, but I was left with wanting a little more. Does that help at all?
This is a good start…..
I love the focus on the colors red/orange and how that ties into transportation and the presumable association with coming to a stop, standstill, or end. The tail lights, the sirens, and traffic lights and signs. I can’t help but focus on the ambulance and the responders a bit and the presumed tragedy, maybe death by accident? Life goes on however as the pedestrians continue walking by. If I’m on the right track, I like the end with the one way and stop signs coming together. Life is a one way journey that can be stopped at anytime.
Like the others have said, there is that melancholy vibe to it through the music, gloomy weather, and rain. If there is one thing I really did not like was the sound of the rain. Was that intentional? Could you go for something less harsh and more natural sounding?
That’s the one thing I didn’t like too. I think I’d soften it a little to blend in with the music, or make it a little less staccato. Yes, a little less harsh.
Whatโs your topic or title? So we can say whether you hit the mark? Not sure if context.
If not – Iโm not sure why you use blur to sharp focus for every change of scene? And I feel it was a little slow Bokeh (learnt that from a Beanie) use nice.
As others have said your choice of BGM is good. Rain and acoustic guitar gives a melancholy flavour – add to that the night scene.
I hope this would help!
I love your music choice mix with raindrop sound.
I’m not sure if you choose rain theme, or just happen to like that sound… I just think that the sound should be more connected with the video. I saw wet roads, people with umbrellas, but not really any rain scenes, or raindrops…
And maybe you could add some text or scene that’s show where this is, or why you chose this rain theme… as your ending logo/slogan is not clear enough.

It may be the headphones or sound system that Hades and I are using…
