Beanie level: Water maid

First of all, I want to say that I love Dramabeans so much, and this is the 1st site that I visit when I wake up from sleep in the morning! @javabeans and @girlfriday, thank you for creating this site, I loove reading your recaps. That being said, I’m sad that DB decided to not recaps a lot of drama lately (Just Between Lovers, Smart Prison Living, Black Knight). I know there are a lot of reasons for that (late subtitle, drama slump) and I totally understand why you chose not to. I just wish that we beanies have a discussion place for specific episodes from dramas that’s not recapped by DB. Yeah, there’s the fanwall, but I think that place is more suitable for fans to post a quick tought, screencaps and gifs, not for a long discussion.

I saw that a lot of beanies started to discuss Just Between Lovers episodes in the JBL’s promo post and I love that beanies have so many desire to share their thoughts and opinions that they manage to find a place to do that.

Now I don’t want to seem too demanding and I’m not trying to pressure the lovely Dramabeans writers. I just want to give a suggestion to my favorite website. What if DB put up a Episode Discussion post? You don’t have to write recaps in it, and it’s not officially a recaps. Just a place for us to discuss certain dramas that isn’t being recapped.Maybe something like the one in tv reviews site The AV Club. When they stopped reviewing a tv show, they put up this post instead ⬇️⬇️⬇️.

This is just a suggestion of course. You don’t have to listen to it, I’ll still love you anyways. The things that I love about Dramabeans isn’t only the recaps, but also the community, because beanies here have such a wonderful, smart, thoughtful opinions that makes me understand a drama better. Love you guys ❤️❤️.

I was thinking, wow Jo Jung Seok’s character is really serious and moody. That’s not fun!
But then, the body switch happened and OMG! He did a complete 180 😀 😀 As expected, JJS is really good at comedic scenes. Hahaha. That entire hospital scene was gold! #TwoCops

Smooth directing, fun and smart characters, charismatic actors. This is pretty good. I already love them. And Woo Do Hwan’s character isn’t even on the team yet!

    I felt so angry and helpless with Woo Sung’s case. He was abused physically and can’t defend himself in front of the society. I truly hope one day this view will change.

    I really like her so far. I feel like I’m not supposed to and I kind of hope that they don’t do a whole softening her up and making her more likable thing.

      Yeah! I like her too. Female lead in kdrama usually lost their strong personality after awhile. Especially when they fall in love. I hope it won’t happen here.
      She’s assigned to “Crime Against Woman” unit, so I hope they keep focusing on females problems and females characters.

        Is it because every drama here sounds likable or is the drama really good? Earlier “chasingbears” too said she liked the drama.. So I feel tempted to watch it, so can you please tell me your opinion about it?

          It’s too early too tell, but so far, so good. I can’t say that it’s really good yet, but it’s definitely different from dramas that is airing now. Like I said, the female lead is unlikable but I understand why she’s acting that way considering her past and the situation of her workplace where she’s the only female that’s prone to sexual harrasment. But she’s actually good at her job. The cases seems to be focused more on crime against women and not about corruption so that’s different. The male lead isn’t an ass or obnoxious and he volunteered to be in “Crime Against Woman” unit, so that’s interesting. Also the unit is led by a female prosecutor who’s famous for refusing promotion to pursue and solve sexual assault cases, I arleady want to know more about her. I hope she’s going to mentor our leads and I’m excited to see the female lead character arc.
