My niece, a Plastic Surgeon elected to do her internship at a well known hospital in Seoul, and she confirms not only most film & TV stars have plastic surgery, every other Korean (as young as 13 have had some plastic surgery done).
Members of the Korean Parliament frequent her surgery & apparently cost is covered by the "Medicare System".

I wonder if koreans have to declare about their physical assets before marrying. The problem will occur when a couple has children & they will not resemble neither of the parents !!!

I think its just natural having surgeries or whatever for all the actresses and celebrities, since maintaining their career is on top of it. and besides, I guess almost all of celebrities do that. am i right? and Speaking of whatever, whatever is all done, she is pretty right from the start. Perhaps you'll not find it that gorgeous because the picture in her pageant, she looks so simple. That's it. Let's not curse Lee instead let's just love her. You'll be blessed. :)

shaven jaw? no, don't think so, probably lost weight. definitely a nose job. her eyebrows are more natural now than in the older picture. can't tell if she had eyelid surgery or not. nowadays, just by using makeup cleverly can give you an eye lift and a double eyelid. still had a bit of baby fat on the face in My Girl.

Lee Da Hae surely had plastic surgery. Thinner face, thinner nose, bigger eyes, fuller lips, toner face overall. Jang Shin Young has always been pretty.
TOO many celebrities, especially KOREAN celebs, are getting too much plastic surgery. We don't even know who and who are natural or fake. But hey, the world doesn't revolve around anything else but appearance and beauty! SUCKS but what the fudge, what can we do about it. The world is chaotic.

I knew fom the start that something is wrong with her looking like that without a tinge of caucasian genes. I don't want to soud racist but she looks like she had a jaw reduction aside from all the other stuff. Im a really big fan of kim seung woo since the 90s! D; I've also seen lee da haes previous works on EOE and S18.
Plus the plot seemed really interesting however i couldnt get through the first 10 mins because of her fake cheeks! :O She was perfect before these cheeks came along..

i check her photos on sweet 18 drama(2004). I dont think plastic surgery at that time is so good..i still believe in your beauty lee da hae...........

Whoever says that she looks the same obviously needs to have his/her eyes checked. I know that fans can be all too tolerant of their idol/s, however, some things just can't be denied. You'll all just die pretending that you really believe she never had anything done to her face. It's so obvious that Lee Da-Hae had plastic surgery done, and she probably had the guts to deny this before because she thought that photos like these would never surface. Well, hello!

1. She wasn't young enough in the early pageant photo to have major and obvious facial changes to what she looks like now. It's true that our face changes gradually, however, the only drastic changes may be pointed out when we compare our CHILDHOOD photos to our ADULT photos.

2. It's impossible to magically "grow" a nose bridge from when you're in your early-late teens to when you're a full adult. It's just scientifically impossible to have this done without any surgical help.

3. We do not 'naturally' get double eyelids with age either.

4. Lose all the weight you want, but CHEEKS are NOT, and will NEVER be the same as JAWS. Having said this, you may lose some fat on your cheeks, but your jawline should stay the same. The jaw is made up of bones, so no matter how much weight you lose, you don't get a heart-shaped face if your face shape was square or round to begin with.

I only see that maybe she has her eyes done but other than that she is quite the same. However what is the big deal. Korean girls do a lot of plastic surgery to look prettier. She is an actress and model therefore she has to look good. I must congratulate her for getting her features done beautifully if she really had. I like her becos she is a talented actress with a gorgeous figure and now a beautiful face. Fighting, da hae.

so what if she got a nose job? or this surgery, or that surgery?.. we can only guess, but how do we know she didnt just change up her diet and exercise, or lifestyle for her career?! i would think a person in her position under the eyes of millions, would be under that pressure of making a change whether it be positive or negative.

these are the decisions she is making whether by choice or not, for personal reasons or part of the industry, or both! and we would never know exactly!!

everyone needs to stop judging and being soooo hung up on a person's appearance, be it friend or celebrity, to define who the person is because.. yes i know as cliche as it is, "beauty is on the inside". learn to differentiate looks from character. i love her and think of her as a wonderful actress among many others.
AND THAT IS ALL THAT SHOULD MATTER.
