um, this drama does not have anything to do with Coffee prince as far as i know. it does share the director with Full House (hence the marketing strategy of naming it as a House series) but does not have anything in common with Full house storyline. it's about a writer who was famous since young writing novels.

I don't believe I have seen a drama with KJH, but after reading a lot of comments from JB and other guest bloggers about him, I think I will give this drama a try. I don't really know anything about it, but I like his look there. Very casual looking but neat. :)

you know what JB, i also keep making the same mistake. whenever i see any news about coffee house, i'd always think that it's abput coffee prince or its sequel. i'd probably always associate coffee house with coffee prince...as to the title! anyway, i wonder what's the story of coffee house....does anybody know? :)

@ #3, R - I think the reason Eunjung looks so young in this drama is because she's supposed to play a 9th grader.

I'm still not sure what the producers are planning for this drama, because it's already quite confusing from the start; what the actual storyline is, who the female lead is etc. Which makes me want to watch it more to be honest.

Eun-jung isn't going to end up with the main guy.

the ambiguity is a bit annoying, imo.. and i'm not wild about kang ji hwan (kang ji hwan!!!!!!!!) with either of the girls, although hopefully that'll change once the show actually starts.

not only does eunjung look too young for him but, even from t-ara, objectively i process that she's highly cute but for some reason i just don't like her. :\

Since Eun-jung is the one featured on the main page in the site that Jinkzz posted, I would say she looks like she'll be the main lead (though, in all honesty, I kind of prefer Park Shi-yeon).

Although I like KJH and really really like PSY, this drama is not appealing to me at all. It also doesn't help that the young chick looks like Park Shin Hye who I find really annoying for some reason. I'll still check it out though for PSY and see if I like it.

I've been confused as to who is the lead actress in this drama. The only hint they show in teasers of PSH - KJH is som random picture I think and then the rest of the teasers show them apart. Anyways I still like Eun-Jung though, from what I've seen of her she's got good comic sense *well she makes me laugh LOL*. Kind of wish they named it something different though cause Coffee House/Coffee Prince no wonder people are getting confused.

Did anyone think that sometimes PSH aka Park Shi Hoo & KJH resemble each other and even their voice sometimes... I do ^ ^

im so sick of watching drama with all this yelling and bad manners
i couldn't finish watching coffee house cos of the eun hye finally telling he was a girl which frustrated gong yu
and the same for pasta, people say it was chemistry between the two leads
all i saw was bickering and shit coming from their mouth and that was that
full house was the same
just got really annoying as soon as the finale ended

Being a female lead can't assure she will get the guy. I'm not being biased to anyone here but regardless who the female lead is, there could be a possibility that the other girl who'll eventually get the guy in the end.

I'm a fan of all the 3 actors, but I'm more interested to see the relationships between PSY/KJH's characters. PSY's character seems more fun, however, I've seen many similar characters like EJ's before so I'm not really digging it. So based on the posters and clips, I guess PSY--->KJHEJ? I'm hoping for a twist here lol.

This drama looks very typical and it reuses all the kdrama cliches but I hope everything will turn out a little better than I expected.

What seem to be the rants on this thread is not that Park Si Yeon is a good actress but is she the one that going to get the guy? If this was really about her acting status this would not be a issue because it obvious she playing a key role in this drama so this going back in forth about the lead it really all about the GUY! Is it really that important she be the one with the guy? does being the one with the guy mean less screen time? Does it diminish her skills as a actress. She didn't get the guy in the drama "When Spring Come" but she was the lead actress. Getting the guy should not determine your worth of the actress and I think Park Si Yeon is mature enough to understand that concept or she wouldn't accepted "When Spring Comes and My Girl. Viewer need to stop thinking that the one that get the guy is the the better actress, when it only about who fit the character better. A character is not made with skill alone, appearance, facial expression, body language, chemistry and the all powerful believability.

Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just from the little interaction I have seen between Ham Eun Jung and Kang Ji Hwan they have that chemistry, be it daughter and father as one viewer mention or man and woman it there! Park Si Yeon my be consider a good actress by many but too me she lack chemistry she don't captivate me, from My Girl too A Man Story she acted but never become the character! So give the Newbie a break, she might be the next big thing, like Yoon Eun Hye or better yet maybe this drama might radiate something more out of Park Si Yeon, other then boredom.

It would be a bummer if Eun Jung's character is the female lead that ends up with KJH's character. I'm not against EJ, but it just doesn't look right.

This is what I found as far as plot line--which makes me nervous because i absolutely DETEST bermuda triangles.lol..but seriously--ugh!! It'd be easier if I knew who he would end up with for sure! but then it wouldn't have a plot. This is why i avoid "grown-up" dramas..not that this doesn't happen in teen ones, just not in such extremes. I hope the dude isn't a cheater but i don't see how that is avoidable in this case.

Coffee House’ is the upcoming Korean drama which will take over the SBS Monday-Tuesday 20:45 time slot previously occupied by ‘Oh!My Lady’. The drama starring Kang Ji Hwan and Park Si Yeon is directed by famous Korean filmmaker Pyon Min Soo who previously produced some successful drama, including ‘Worlds Within’ (2008), ‘Which Star Are You From’ (2006), and the popular drama ‘Full House’ (2004). It seems that Pyo wants to make this drama as a second of ‘House’ series after his mega-hit drama ‘Full House’.

‘Coffee House’ which previous title was ‘Page One’ tells about a famous novelist Lee Jin Soo (played by Kang Ji Hwan) who has published consecutive best sellers. Then, he will has a romantic relationship with Seo Eun Young, the CEO of a publishing company played by Park Si Yeon who has also a successful franchise cafe ‘Coffee Page One’.

The leader of group T-ara, Han Eun Jung will participate to play the role of Kang Seung Yeon, the secretary of Lee Jin Soo. Later she will has love triangle with Kang Ji Hwan and Park Si Yeon’s role.

The other stars completing the casts are two veteran stars who played in the 2010 SBS drama ‘Wish Upon Star’, Lee Soon Jae and Kim Ji Young, and Ahn Gil Kang (Queen Seon Duk, 2009). Jung Jun Ho (IRIS, 2009) is recently revealed to join the first two episode as a request of Pyo.

If the romance between chief of page one and writer continues, this will be a boring story as it's so predictable. But if silly secretary and writer falls for each other, then we are talking. What does he see in her? I'm only watching cos of KangJH. Park is boring. Pretty faces appeal sometimes, but she really doesn't work out here. I find her too coy. EY can't act well, but she's cute as you can see her trying to act. So that's interesting for me. Anyway, I'm for the underdog. The ratings will go higher if EY's character Kang Seung Yeon ends up with KJH's character Lee Jin Soo (writer). Hope Mr Pyo notes this.
