(Though as an actor I like him the most now in Love in Contract.)

I first saw him in Operation Proposal, but didn't really take much notice of him because of how cuuutttte the main otp and the show was.

Then came Flower Boy Next Door. He and Kim Seulgi were the reason I kept rewatching the show. They should have had their own show.

Then Reply 1988, which I still rewatch from time to time but only for Sun Woo and Bora.

I won't count Jealousy Incarnate because he was the only part of that show I didn't like.

I disliked Chicago Typewriter as a whole. But finished it for Go Kyung Pyo in suits.

I LOVED him in Strongest Deliveryman, and rewatch the show frequently. I know that was the show that shot Kim Sun Ho to stardom, and I did like him and his story arc a lot too, but I loved Kang Soo. He was so strong, so kind, so wise, so determined, and so calm.

Ha, I liked Chicago Typewriter (though it was so tragic), but dropped Strongest Deliveryman (couldn't keep my attention despite my love for Chae Sobin).

It seems there is Go Kyungpyo for everyone 🙂

I’m with you that I don’t like him in Jealousy Incarnate despite the fandom for his pairing with GHJ.

Chingu! It feels so great to find people who feel the same way as you!

I loved Strongest Deliveryman, too! Such a heartwarming show. Go Kyung-pyo was fantastic as the leader of the underdog deliverymen. The whole cast was very good.

Another vote for Flower Boy Next Door. They styled him pretty well. I sort of don't like him in suits, so I love his casual outfits in this drama.

I liked the main couple, but his coupling with Kim Seul-gi is seared onto my heart. I hope they can couple up again in another drama.

I just came here to warn beanies.

Choose anything over "Private Lives" because it was terrible and I dropped it four episodes before the finale. So, far in my Kdrama-watch life, I have never done this to any other drama.

He is fabulous in Chicago Typewriter. The character is unusual and his arc is very memorable. My most favorite performance of him to date.

You can also check Jealousy Incarnate for something more fun and hilarious. He is a bit on the weak side when it comes to the comedy though, compared to the other two leads, but he still gives good performance.

Not a popular recommendation, maybe, since this is one of his early projects and he was still a bit green there. But Potato Star 2013qr3 is a delightful sitcom and his character is so endearingly hilarious. I especially love his endless bickering with his sister (who was played by Seo Ye-ji).

I was considering Potatoe Star for recommendation as well. 🙂

He's absolutely the best in *Reply1988* because his character's charm sneaks up on you--and Bora--over time.

*Chicago Typewriter* is also an obvious choice, and he's very good in it, but the story and tone of that drama is such that it's not the type of romantic role one might seek out if they just want to gaze and sigh while watching.

I liked him very much in *Private Lives,* even though I know that that drama has basically disappeared from the collective consciousness. Initially his character is a frustrating enigma, but when the story picks up there's some stoic sexiness and sweetness that are both very endearing.

Your Private Lives description is appealing. I can only remember the adults of that show though: Kim Hyo Jin nim and Kim Young Min nim.And the documentary affectation. I wish I could rewatch that show, there are some director's choices I really liked.

I think some viewers found/will find it to be somewhat pretentious and self-important, but I was entertained. And I agree that parts are well-directed. I also remember being fine overall with the acting, especially Kim young-min.

Unlike many (apparently), I am swept away by him in Jealousy Incarnate. If nothing else, check out the scene where he measures GHJ for a dress 🔥 *fans self*

Oh, and the mud fight in Ep 12 in which both actors are giving it their best. Sorry, I can’t tell which ep has the dress scene.

The mud fight is actually the only scene I really liked his character! It was the only time his sincerity was palpable for me.

HA! Definitely not many! This is the first time I have seen people thinking the same as me about him in JI.

Hated JI, couldn't finish it, but when he measures GHJ for a dress, it is one of the sexiest things I have seen on a kdrama.

The scene where he makes the dress is the iconic one for me! That blue color is one of my favorite blues. That show made me notice him. The scene where he deals with his heartbreak by crying on the floor is probably why I won't rewatch that show. The writer redeemed herself with Greasy Melo though.

Chicago Typewriter definitely. He was also super adorable in Naeil's Cantibile, although the drama itself was pretty bad.

Strongest Deliveryman - stare away. Also, my personal favorite is Flower Boy Next Door - it's only a supporting role, but his romance with Kim Seul Gi is sooo cute.

I am another vote for Chicago Typewriter! I loved that show, it was clever and well-acted, and Go Kyung-pyo was great in both timelines.

I liked him a lot in Strongest Deliveryman, but his role in Nodame Cantabile was very cute too.
I also loved him in CT.

After reading the replies, apparently I've seen him in at least a few dramas, but the only one I remembered was Strongest Deliveryman, which I enjoyed until I lost interest the last few episodes, but that happens a lot. I liked him there and he's my favorite actor and character in Love in Contract (which, again, not his fault, I enjoyed initially but find myself zoning out these last few episodes).

If you want to see Go Kyung-po when he was starting out, check out Standby. That's where I first saw him, playing a high school student. It's a daily, 100+ episode sitcom drama from the year 2012 and it includes a cast of famous faces.

Then check out Jealousy Incarnate and you'll see that he's definitely not that high school kid anymore!

GKP dramas have been a hit-and-miss for me. Reply 1988 was enjoyable. Jealousy Incarnate was underwhelming, but that could be my personal bias against GHJ talking. I just didn’t feel any chemistry there. Chicago Typewriter could not hold my attention to the end, though his character was interesting. LIC is campy but doesn’t pretend to be otherwise, so I’m enjoying it. Great visuals from the leads also helped.

It's a slightly older drama (2013), and he's a secondary character, but Go Kyung Pyo makes one half of one of the cutest Kdrama couples ever in Flower Boy Next Door. And Kim Seul Gi makes the other half, lol.
