One day off looks like it will be a series of mini stories showcasing a different location each week whilst focusing on one woman living her life and those she encounters along the way. The more I see the more it seems to confirm that it really will be a human version of The littlest hobo as they will all grow from the experience.

1 - I mean, who doesn't love SHS? And ABH can be fine too with right role. But something about this show is confusing to me, not sure what - maybe the rather excessive amount of past lives FL had? If the main premise is about her reuniting with her boo from life number 18, why there have to be 17 more? And if these 17 are important, what's so special about 18th and that guy from it? Did she manage to live so many lives with no regrets left sans one? That's some achievement here!

7 - wait, June?! It feels like just a month ago we've first heard about it being developed, and now it's almost there... Where did the time go?

About "See You in My 19th Life", that's kinda the point of the show, it's gonna answer all those questions, I guess (I mean, the webtoon did, I'm assuming they've adapted it well enough, at least).
But 19 is not necessarily that important as a number, I guess the writer liked it?? Or maybe it's just the likely number of lives needed to go from the first one in the past to the current year, time wise! xD
Some lives are more important than others, we only know details about a few of them, while 18 and 19 are tightly connected to each other! ^^

What an inspiring optimism!))) Can't say the same - I've been burned too many times by fantasy kdramas, esp the ones coming from tvN...
It does seem like a story better suited for webtoon format than drama then. Even if not all lives are properly explored, 19 is just way too many for 16 or less episodes. You know, it's always a miracle when k-writers manage to handle even one lifetime, let alone almost 20)))

I read the start of the webtoon and the story is set in the 19th life, they show what happened in the 18th life to introduce the concept that she remembers her previous lives and only show the parts that are relevant to why she seeks him out in her 19th life. Because she remembers her previous lives she has access to the knowledge she gained in that time. So I am assuming that on a needs to know basis they will refer to the elements that will help them deal with the issues that are present in the 19th life.

So lives 1-17 are more like plot device rather than plot itself? This way it can work in a show - with capable writer ofc. We'll see...
Still, how convenient for her! Girl is gonna pursue her dream man with centuries of experience and confidence at her disposal)))

It's 12 episodes actually (only thing that worries me, really xD)
But they won't deal with all 19 lives, though some of them might appear in flashback form.
I think the plot development in the webtoon was pretty solid (albeit not groundbreaking)!
They would need to mess that up really badly to ruin the drama ahah! In that sense I'm quite optimistic, yeah 😁

Damn, 12 seems to be the new 16 for kdramas! Not sure how I feel about that. For simpler stories, like romcoms, it's probably better, but in this particular case... Hmm.
Honestly, there are many interesting webtoons out there, but same cannot be said about their drama adaptations. Good thing that most of my favorite ones are 100% unadaptable due to the genre/setting/premise)))

1) At least, they chose pretty places to film.

2) It looks fun and there is the cute Kim Min-Jae.

3) The casting of guests looks great!

Not sure for the rest now.

I'm terrible with names as well 😅
Just Kim Minjae is one of my favourite actors, thus I was surprised to see his name and thought I had missed something... and went to check. 😁

I'm ready for the Shin Heysun's drama premiering on the 17th about her 18th life's love she wants to meet in her 19th life. 😁

I'm also ready for Lee Nayoung travelling... not between her lives, but just ordinarily through Korea. 🙂

Can anyone tell me why Park Shin Hye doesn't make drama anymore? Was there any scandal? She decided to be a full-time mother? She is so funny and talented
