What if Dong-jae hasn’t actually been digging purposefully, and the weaselnapping turns out to be a personal issue to do with extra-marital affairs? That would really annoy Choi & Woo, wouldn’t it…
I’m not sure if the kidnapper is a woman, but if she is, she could be Dong-jae’s jilted mistress!
Ok, ok, that really is way too makjang, @blacksesame. But maybe the personal reason for the kidnapping is not that important in the plot; it’s the kidnapping itself that’s important because it’s getting a reaction from Choi, Woo and Lee Yeon-jae concerning events that had originally been hidden. If DJ hadn’t disappeared, Choi and Woo probably wouldn’t have been caught dead drinking together. And I don’t think Yeon-jae has ever been so stern with her sidekick before.
I agree. I don’t think either Woo or Choi was behind the kidnapping. It brought up the events hidden, like you said, unless one of them has an agenda to reveal corruption from both sides. It doesn’t benefit LYJ either.
Based on the body built and fair skin complexion of the person hitting DJ, I suspected it was director Park. More so in E8 when he suddenly walked in when SM asked YJ about the phone calls.
The one listening to the video of DJ’s wife is a woman,I think if we look at the hand. The one hitting DJ is a man though from the body height, may be director Park? They are accomplice or just two people with different motive?
Yes I wonder if they are two entirely different people. Btw the comment that the video person started typing then deleted sounded personal, accusing either DJ or his wife of having no conscience or something. But none of the main players in the story has anything personal against DJ, which is one reason why I’m beginning to think that the kidnapping has nothing to do with cops, prosecutors or chaebol.
Argh the wait for the next episode is killing me, and it’s only MONDAY…

I doubt this writer would add personal affairs to this plot…too makjang. But I don’t know what to think. Everyone seems suspicious to me 😬

killer seems to be a woman going by body frame..
so unless his wife is LGBT 🙂 .. extra marital is off the charts
