I actually really liked the first episode of Record of Youth but I’m seeing that it seems to be an unpopular opinion. Apparently lots of people think it’s dated but I find it familiar yet also refreshing LOL but I’ve never been known to have, uh, good opinions.
Anyway, I really like Park So-dam’s character so far! I’m 24 and in the same stage of life as the main characters so I think I’ll relate to them a lot. The only thing I don’t particularly like is towards the end during the OTP scenes the directing got a bit OTT/cliche, but, well, it IS a youth kdrama.
Me too! And I like how PBG’s character, while working hard to chase his dreams, also takes his boss’s well-intentioned words to heart. He’s wrestling between his dreams and his reality, and he’s simultaneously cynical and hopeful. I find that very relatable.

I like it too! I like how ML and FL know what they want in life and that they are working hard to achieve their goals/dreams.

I liked the energy in this episode overall. But I’m not a fan of any of the cast. :/ so I’m still on the fence.
