Someone said it!!
The only thing that made sense to me in the last three episodes of Flower of evil.

It’s hard to believe in the 20 years (and all of its logical and illogical implications) but I’ve managed to blank it out with not too much effort – a willing suspension of disbelief, in the interests of going with the flow and totally enjoying it. I understand we should demand veracity and a truth we can believe in, but the leads and their pain and tribulations are so convincing that I don’t care. I don’t care that the killer has been on life support for so long and is now up and at it again, without drawing a breath; that parents can do what they are doing to aid and abet; that the deeds, misdeeds, and betrayals of the past are so easily awakened, but I do care about the leads and how they’ll end up. That’s enough for me. I totally taken in. I’m not going to spoil it for myself with a need for logic!!

      I can totally understand it!
My problem is I was loving the drama and having so much fun with it, and then things went downhill in the last three episodes. I can handle nonsense, and nothing being logical, I can really. The main problem to me is that the show was consistent and logical until that point so I’m a bit in shock.
And regarding this screenshot, I really can’t understand the “first love” trope, so I find it refreshing some one said this aloud 🙂

You’ve been more thoughtful than me. I don’t care about these two that much. I’ve always thought he was questionable. The only thing keeping him the story now is his “unquenchable” feelings for her, which as you point out are incredible. She just seems weak at the moment. I thought her character was going to be involved more in taking the story forward, but she has simply ineffectually dabbled.

What’s left? These questions, for me: How will the leads survive what is closing in on them? Will he prove right those who suspect him or will he emerge exonerated? And how about the conflicts she faces as a wife and as a policewoman – how is she going to emerge from that? In the end if the status quo is reestablished without problems, that’s when I’ll be disappointed. I want him to be treated fairly. I want her to stay true to him and true to herself. I want them to be a happy family. I want the perps to be stopped so they don’t continue to harm people. But I don’t want it to be a trite closure. I don’t know how they can give me my happy ending and do that, so that’s what keeps me watching. But kdrama often surprise me in where it ends up. It’s that unpredictability that keeps me watching.
