Run On is still an enigma after 5 episodes in… I am still trying to figure out why it’s a mystery to me… in a good way. Mystery as in I don’t know why exactly I am drawn to this drama. It has the same average k-drama plot we often see and normally I would have given up 3 or 4 ep in… but every week I end up wanting more and trying to figure out HSG and what ticks him. He is so hard to read and it just make me soooooo damn curious to figure him all out!
We get these dramas every now and then, ones that are typical like we’ve seen them lots of times before, but give off a warm vibe. It keeps you coming back. Examples based on what I’ve watched would be It’s Okay Daddy’s Girl and Marriage Contract.
I like it too, am hanging out for my kids to go to bed so I can watch episode 5. I was also surprised at how much I wanted to keep watching because on the surface it doesn’t seem like anything unusual.
