It was licensed through entertainment agency IOK Company, currently on screenwriting stages and it slated 100 billion won ($89.7 million) which it responded to lack of epic historical dramas being produced in Korean entertainment scene recently. It was the Korean version of Game of Thrones and its book series currently 6th of 10-part (note: the 7th part will be released on June 14) which expected to end next year. No broadcast date and channel yet.
Oh I totally agree on the dearth of epic historical dramas… But is it really necessary to market it as a version of Games of Thrones? Goguryeo is awesome on its own.
