They always go on these full-on lengthy monologues and – yes, what they say is intelligent – but GOSH, would you just be quiet and let the other person speak?? Or even let them answer the million questions you’ve asked in your monologue???
It’s a little frustrating.
Which brings me to this point: are these intentionally written out this way? Because it’s a little unnatural for their friends and coworkers to have to quietly sit through these monologues ALL THE TIME.
