2022 Roundup
30 – Freestyle – Best Fuzzy Purple Sweater:
I’ve already documented my love for Kim Young-dae’s and Lee Jung-shin’s matching sweaters in Sh**ting Stars, so I’ll have to give the award to another sweater: the one worn by Yoon Jong-hoon in ep. 5. A person could fall headlong into that sweater and never get out. Runner-up: Choi Woo-shik’s in Our Beloved Summer ep. 10. Fuzzy sweaters are among my favorite things in kdramas (although not in real life), and those two shows had many of the best of the year.
Purple 💜 was the 2022 color in kdramas, and I wish I had time to do an extended pictorial of all the ways it brought me joy. Maybe I’ll get around to it in 2023.
