Why do most kdramas act like adults don’t have sex when they’re failing in love? These scenes where they just sleep in the same bed is old and tired because 99% it’s not real life.

Given Koreas extremely low birth rate – maybe the lack of sex is real?
    Sorry, I’m kidding about that.
On the flip side, in most American Flicks the couple has sex on the first encounter. That’s also 99% not real life (or maybe it is and I didn’t get the memo).

Wouldn’t it be nice to have something in-btwn tho? But maybe that’s just my own preference.

Oh gosh. You missed all the purity talk in another thread. It’s because many viewers want them like that.

I get within many communities, purity is important, but simply pressing your closed lips together is not kissing. Some SK series are getting a bit more realistic about relationships. Cdramas are more honest in their portrayals than most other Asian countries.

@indyfan I’m with you-something in between is better than nothing. A flash of occasional passion would be fun, too! Also, it was recently reported in the Korea Times that the birth rate continues to drop as the elderly population continues to increase. It’s a very real phenomenon.
