I needed to let this frustrated feeling out. My constricted chest will not let me sleep.

Hyo-shim’s mum is the worst!! I refuse to acknowledge her by her name. Ajumeoni is perfect for her.

Taking out your daughter’s entire savings to help your other kids and their trivial matters, which they could have resolved on their own, is not the same thing as letting her willingly cash it out to help. It’s her money and she gets to decide. The effrontery to call it the same!

And she dared to say Hyo-shim doesn’t do anything for her when she has been pinching the poor girl’s savings behind her back.

I have been giving the woman warning strikes, but now, she is officially the worst character in the show. Because I know they will include it, I want to see her actually work hard for Hyo-shim’s forgiveness and affection. They better not gloss over it!

It would have been better if she was a terrible mum to all, but she is only to one- the daughter and the hardest working one. This isn’t contributing and encouraging the patriarchal system anymore. This is outrightly being abusive.

Seeing Hyo-shim taking in and getting suffocated with each and every thing her family does is really gut wrenching. You are not a martyr, girl!

She looks like a hamster on a wheel. Always running with no progress except for keeping fit. And the one thing that was probably a motivator has gone up in smoke thanks to a selfish mother without a sense of consequences.

The show better make Hyo-shim living her life worth watching after all these pains.

The only saving grace from this show are the lead’s interactions. Too few, too short.

My first weekend drama in 10 years, all because of Uee and Ha Joon pairing. I hope I make it to the finish line.

P.S. Hyo-jun needs to get a job pronto and start learning to fend for himself. Maknae is even better than him, albeit terrible too, but still better. He is just like his mother.

I am just angry that it is 15th episode and our female lead is still a filial daughter to her exhausting family. I also don’t see her cutting off her mother in the near future.

Frankly, I don’t want to see her mom’s redemption arc. That woman has been a terrible parent for >30 years, pushing the idea that one should continue caring about such parent because there is a chance they will learn from their mistakes is just cruel to viewers in similar position as Hyo Shin.
