#2023 Round Up Day 14 : Best Bromance

Sacred Divorce:Shin Sung-han, Jang Hyeon-goon, Jo Jung-shik

I can’t talk about Bromances without giving credit to a drama that’s actually based on this. Just like it’s predecessor Thirty Nine, it had a character who sometimes felt to me like the third wheel in their bromance, it doesn’t hide the fact that this three are a bunch of children when they are in their element. Is it singing at the top of their voice in the dead of the night, or tag-teaming to tease either one of them, even tag-teaming to be jealous over a meal special. When I recall Sacred Divorce, the character that stays in my mind the most is Jang Hyeon-goon. This man has a heart of gold. And it finally gave me a proper introduction to Kim Sung-kyun. Definitely no regrets in this winning best bromance.

Honorable Mentions

Lee Jang-hyun and Ryang-eum : My Dearest 1&2. The dialogue in the picture for this sealed this deal for me.
Gu Won and Noh Chang-shik : King The Land. I didn’t go further than EP 5. But it was fun to watch this two quibble.
