There’s nothing not funny about this shot. Lee Dong-wook, will you marry me? I’ve never seen more commitment to the craft of acting than you show in Wild Romance. No seriously, I’ve discovered that Lee Dong-wook is truly quite a good actor, which is sometimes hard to appreciate more recently because he’s working with equally good actors. Here, he truly shines. Even though he’s pantomiming with the rest of them (in scenes other than this one 😂) he touchingly shows the humanity behind this caricature of a baseball player.
I like to imagine that this is actually a conversation between Cha Eun-woo stans and haters on the Internet. I laugh quite a bit about that. Look at how fun this show is!!
You have to get past the 60 frames/second video camera and the aforementioned pantomiming, but it’s really quite a fun show with some nice feelings behind the action.
@midnight This man here is the Prime Minister in Blood Free if that tempts you to watch that latter show–it’s quite good, actually, and he’s good in it.

That business is called Kevin Jang’s Hut, and no one knows why. He’s got glamour shots of himself on the wall, and no one knows why. I’d trust him with my life, tho.
This man is a miracle of characterization. I believe they collectively (actor, writer, director) made a miracle possible by making this character not cheesy nor silly even for one second, and completely loveable!
Which can actually be said about nearly all the side characters.
