Ep 7 was interesting. There are a lot of things that unfolding, especially Moon Soo. I don’t want to spoil hehe… but I love the moments between Moon-Soo & Gang-Doo 💖 aigoooo~ MY HEARTEEUUU~~
Yes, Jun-ho did a great job in showing Gang-do’s conflicted emotions! Him remembering everything from the past and living with the guilt of leaving someone behind, and knowing Moon-soo left him behind yet seeing her living -what seems like- a normal life, this must be killing him, the anguish in that scene, OMG!
You’re absolutely right! this was sad and painful to bear for someone like Gang-doo who still can’t move on from his tragic past 🙁 aaww this show has really a deep meaning for those people who have lost their loved ones. This show was a masterpiece indeed!
sooo truee!! I honestly don’t know how it feels because I don’t have some closed ones who died but watching the characters in this show makes me feel the pain too. 🙁
Yes, it’s not only about losing a loved one, it’s about surviving a tragedy like that knowing you’ll never be the same again, I literally watched the last scene fighting my tears, so sad!
He doesn’t know this yet but she did not abandoned him. In the flashback she was trying to point her finger but she could barely lift her hand as she was so weak and she lost her conciousness before she could tell the rescuers there were still survivors inside the collapsed mall. And we know she woke up without the memory of that incident.
I know but he doesn’t know that, he felt abandoned, just thinking about him being under that rubble, hoping they’d come any minute, that she’d send help, waiting.. is so heart-wrenching!
Didn’t she bumped her head to a rock when the rescuers that carried her on the stretcher fell to the ground after the building further collapsed? I thought she couldn’t remember him because of amnesia caused by the head injury.
@xjjlm She did fall and hurt her head I guess, but I’m not sure if she lost those memories because of that or that it was to painful for her and she tried to forget them the best she could and blocked them out, she created herself a window for amnesia because of the trauma!
You’re welcome and thank you also for sharing your thoughts 🙂 It helps me to deeply understand more of this scene. I didn’t cry in this scenes while I was watching it earlier because my dad was also in the same room where I was so I just feel the pain on the inside though 😂😂😂 anyways, thank u so much for passing by on my wall XD
He must be really frustrated and angry with her but at the same time he can’t blame her, that was such a terrifying experience, it was so painful for her that she had to block it out!
Yeah. Gang-doo also starting to know the reason why Moon-soo forget about everything between them when they were stuck in the mall when they were young.
I don’t think he’s really angry with her, or maybe in a way he is, but only because she’s so not okay and he couldn’t tell her that after finding out what happened to her when she regained her conciousness in the hospital. He’s torn between telling her how she’s not okay and remind her of that terrifying experience or letting her find out and remember for herself. It’s more of a concern and pity in his part than anger and frustration. At least that’s how I read that scene. But I loved how he’s so concerned of her in that scene when a moment before that he’s being haunted by their traumatic past.
woaahhh! thank you for your observation and your thoughts! I was honestly confused a little bit when I watched this scene what I just know when saw this scene as he was haunted and scared by his traumatic experience. thank you chingu!!! 🙂
I think it’s all of it, honestly! It’s so painful for him to go through all of this alone and the one person who would really understand him doesn’t remember, I think part of him feels like it’s not fair, like he has to bear it all alone, but then he talked to grandma and she told him that just because someone cries louder doesn’t mean they’re hurting more (she did say this, right?), he knows Moon-soo’s hurting too and that’s why it’s so conflicting for him, they’re both really sad, so sad!
I guess we all have different thoughts regarding this scene hehe 🙂 but one thing that we feel all the same way was both main characters are hurting, even the supporting characters feel the pain and guilt too.
