Kwon Si Hyun is the definition of “men are trash.” FIGHT ME ALL YOU WANT BUT I’M STICKING WITH MY OPINION. Here are the reasons why I hate Si Hyun:
– He plays on Soo Ji’s heart. Before you say, “oh Si Hyun likes Soo Ji as friend,” or “Si Hyun’s confused with the affection he has towards Soo Ji,” let me remind you that it was Si Hyun who’s leading on Soo Ji. He asked her for a date before, then he said to Soo Ji that he won’t disappear, then asked her to marry him and said he can’t like anyone else other than Soo Ji. Then when Soo Ji felt insecure about Si Hyun’s feelings toward Tae Hee, he asked Soo Ji to believe on his feeling and said to Soo Ji that he will never make Soo Ji depressed ever again. Now that he is in love with Tae Hee, he somehow throws away Soo Ji like she’s not important to him anymore and claimed that Soo Ji has changed when it’s him who changed first.
– He treats his friends like sh*t. It seems like his words about how his friendship is important to him are just mere words. He might be a good friend before, but after he finds his own source of happiness with Tae Hee, he doesn’t really care about his friends anymore. Both Soo Ji and Se Joo always try to be there for him, but he’s the one who’s been keeping secrets and pushing them away. And now he’s angry at Soo Ji and Se Joo for not telling him about Tae Hee’s mom? He also snapped at both of them when they celebrated his birthday and said he doesn’t need all that anymore. And he seemed indifferent about shutting their hideout down and said Soo Ji’s no longer Soo Ji that he knows. Boy, what Se Joo said is right, it’s Si Hyun who made Soo Ji like that because he was leading on her before. He also asked Se Joo, “what else should he do to appease you guys?” Wow, how many times Se Joo told him to clear things out with Tae Hee and be honest to Soo Ji. From that question, we know how low Si Hyun think about his friendship with them because he feels like he has to prove or meet their expectations to be friends. It seems like all this while, Si Hyun never tried to be himself around them. It’s true what Soo Ji said, “which one of us wasn’t sincere.” By seeing how much Soo Ji and Se Joo care about Si Hyun, I think if only Si Hyun tells them the truth before their issue’s getting big, Soo Ji can accept it as it is.
– He treats Tae Hee like a trash when humiliated her in front of their friends and took advantage of Tae Hee’s kindness. I know that he wanted to break up with her because of his mom, but he somehow used that opportunity to prove to his friends that he’s the same old Si Hyun. His words really don’t match with his action when he told his mom that he loves Tae Hee so much, but how could he dare to humiliate the woman he loves in front of other people? He doesn’t deserve both Tae Hee and Soo Ji.

    *sigh*

Basically, almost all of the characters in this drama suck. Some are more understandable than others. 😓

But I’m still watching this drama for Soo Ji and Se Joo. Soo Ji might not be innocent, but I somehow understand her actions better and want her to be happy at the end.

Yes, I like Se Joo. Which is funny, because I really wasn’t sure if I would like him in the beginning. 🤨 And Soo Ji as a character, thank goodness, actually makes sense and has understandable motivations. She’s still kinda crazy, but so is everyone in this drama..
