Ah, the magic of second chances.
I really disliked the first episode
of What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim …
The convoluted and over-the-top
music cues and forced comedy
made me cringe.
But today, Secretary Kim surprised me.
The funny moments, balanced by heartfelt, serious scenes,
plus the music cues that complimented the tone of each frame,
elevated my crashed expectations to the level of HOPE.
Here’s to Secretary Kim and second chances. Depicted below were my favorite parts …
Yes, me too!
I went in expecting the same mess and then the balance won my heart.
I think this episode dealt more with the characters … it felt sincere instead of fake.
Also, it might have been that the reverse psychology strategy of Vice Chairman Lee
brought a nice, melo tone that just hit my notes 🙂
