ANGEL’S LAST MISSION: LOVE

All right. I have a bone to pick with you Ji Kang-Woo-ssi. You want to “refresh” the image of the ballet company? Good. You want them to perform new works that the public can get excited about? Even better. But then, you pick Giselle? GISELLE? Literally the oldest ballet in existence? Whyyyyyyyyyyy?

Here’s a gif of Aurora to inspire you…

may be thats his plan to refresh image by reinventing ways to have oldest ballet cab
be performed on stage… just may be… i have no knowledge of ballet but if a drama character says such then i am sure they had enough research for the same.

Mayyyyybe. I know that ballet really, really well (I was a professional dancer until my mid-twenties and Giselle is the first ballet I performed professionally at the age of 14) so I’m very surprised that’s the one they picked. Especially over more “modern”, more popular ballets like Don Q, La Bayadère, etc. We shall see. 🙂

Maybe because Giselle dies at the end of Act 2 and then comes back as a spirit they thoughts it would be a good fit thematically. But so does Nikiya in La Bayadère and that’s overall a more “exciting” ballet…

Hahahaha! Yeah, pretty much. I maaaaay have picked the beluga as an avatar because it’s white like Odette in Swan Lake 🙂
