Some The Lies Within thoughts: It definitely picked up in the 2nd episode.
I did not expect to see LJH! (But then again, I don’t review cast lists before watching dramas).
Kim Seo Hee is the typical innocent and ordinary wife, but since she’s the center of the story, we should see her desperate and determined transformation soon. Instead of the husband searching for the missing wife, it’s the other way around. She will be rash and make mistakes, but hopefully she will learn from them quickly and be sharp about her decisions.
The female cop was annoying af. I nearly wanted to drop this drama because of her tactlessness and incompetence. (And I’m a pretty easygoing person.)
I’m still curious about the mystery so I’ll continue watching.
Episode 2 felt a little choppy and lost a little bit of the momentum given to us in Episode 1, but I’m still holding onto hope and will stick with it for now 🙂
