Nam Da-reum debuted as a child actor in 2010, playing the young version of Kim Hyun-joong’s character in the popular KBS2 series Boys Before Flowers. He spent the next years of his career portraying the young counterparts of leading characters in numerous TV series and films. In 2015, he was named Best Young Actor at the 4th APAN Star Awards for his work in SBS’s Pinocchio. In 2017 and 2018, he won two more Best Young Actor trophies at the MBC and the KBS Drama Awards for The King Loves and Radio Romance, respectively. In 2019, he joined the main cast of the JTBC drama A Beautiful World. In 2020, he played the teenage Han Ji-pyeong in the hit JTBC series Start-Up. In 2021, he landed his first leading role in KakaoTV’s The Great Shaman Ga Doo-shim, opposite Kim Sae-ron. That same year, he appeared in the disaster comedy film Sinkhole, which gave him a Best New Actor nomination at the 42nd Blue Dragon Film Awards.


Nam Da-reum can play the violin and likes to practice in his free time. He enlisted for his mandatory military service in February 2022.
