Shin Eun-jung began her acting career in the late 1990s and has since appeared in numerous TV series and films. Some of her early works include 1998’s Song of the Wind and 1999’s KAIST, which both aired on SBS. In 2007, she became part of the MBC fantasy sageuk Legend. The following year, she joined another MBC series called East of Eden, which earned her a Golden Acting Award at the MBC Drama Awards. In 2012, she acted alongside Lee Min-ho and Kim Hee-sun in SBS’s Faith, which gave her a Special Acting Award nomination at the SBS Drama Awards. In 2014, she starred in the hit tvN workplace series Misaeng. In 2017, she was nominated for an Excellence Award at the MBC Drama Awards for her role in the 50-episode weekender Thief-nom, Thief-nim. In 2023, she was cast as one of the main characters in Channel A’s melodrama thriller Queen of the Mask.
Shin Eun-jung studied theater at the Seoul Institute of the Arts. In 2008, she married actor Park Sung-woong, whom she met on the set of Legend. They have a son together.
