A lot of people were unhappy with the ending of You're Beautiful and would like to have seen the lead stars in more romantic scenes. Perhaps this is a chance to satisfy those who up to this time are wanting to enjoy more of the chemistry that Jang Geun Suk and Park Shin Hye displayed when filming the drama. I've always thought that their BTS exuded "playfulness" and sincerity. They seemed to have enjoyed the skinship scenes anyway. So why not for this pair who I believe have a large following not only in Korea but in the world. They are both good actors who can pose a challenge to the lead stars of the Taiwanese version. Of course I love Joe Cheng and Ariel Lin very much.

i think shin dong-wook is soooo attractive by the way, i'm going to watch wish upon a star to see his hunkyness except i don't think he gets the girl in that one. OH NO my poor dong-wook!!! lol

Although I like Park Shin Hye and Jung Yong Hwa, I can't see them as the Itazura na Kiss couple. He doesn't have good enough acting skills or the vibe to pull off an annoying and posh character like Naoki.

Lee Min Ho would be good for the character, but I don't want BOF all over again. Hated that series and I don't need a re-run of it. And no matter how much he changed his style, people would still see his BOF character.

And God, please not the Ice King of BOF. He's skinny and weak looking, hardly the tall man with a strong presence that Naoki is. Also, the boy can't act. Simply can't. He's horrible in acting. At least so far.

Park Shin Hye is cute, but I don't know if she can pull off the spunk that Kotoko has. I can't picture her as a strong-headed bimbo. Haven't seen her in anything but YAB though so I can't be sure.

The girl is easier, but Naoki is a bit tougher to cast. It has to be a tall, strong guy with a very special and imposing aura. Someone who can just appear in a scene and make you feel uncomfortable and scared for Kotoko for being in the vicinity. Lol. I mean, he is kind of a scary and bossy dude.
It needs to be an actor who's every look and gesture and even face have to say "Arrogant, conceited and holier-than-though kind of man". And I can't see neither of the guys rumored pulling that off. Even their face doesn't match that type.
Let's wait and hope, for now. But if they get this guy from BOF, I'm definitely not watching.

I have no love left for John Woo. NONE. He's shown me no love for my intelligence or his craft, I'm not a charitable.

Really I do cringe anytime I read anything about this remake. I weep my own miserable tears and wish this is just a nightmare and please just go away....

Don't really mind about LMH not taking the lead since I'm not really a fan of his anyway.... I don't think anyone would fit the role better than Joseph Cheng in the Taiwanese version. But well, Korea is always capable of giving me surprises anytime! :)

I knew he wouldn't take it. I didn't think he would take it. But deep, deep, deep inside I was hoping he would take it. Am disappoint.
