          I’ve watched Reply 1997 and 1988 is on my list like Live amd My Ahjussi. Never heard of Sweden Laundry and love affairs in the afternoon. Will look into it 🙂

            Ps. I have a bias re. Park Shin Hye. I know she’s extremely popular, but she cries just too much for me. (Heirs, Pinocchio, Sisyphus …) so I’m afraid to watch Flower boy next door because of her…

            About FBND, well it’s a show about healing so there’s crying hahahaha, but not that much. FBND is actually one of the most hilarious dramas I’ve seen in my life.
            Oh, there’s other character that cries more than Shin Hye’s, but it’s only in the first episodes (and she’s supposed to be annoying). I hope this info helps you to decide ^^

    Thank you @LoveKD for allowing me to go down memory lane. WATCHER was one of my favorite dramas on 2019 and is my favorite Seo Kang-joon drama. It was my first Han Suk-kyu drama and of course I then went on to watch his ROMANTIC DOCTOR, TEACHER KIM and the sequel which I loved.

      Han Suk-kyu was chilling at times, brrrr. And Kim Hyun-joo was so mesmerizing.
      The OST elevated the drama.

      I found skj also amazing Im “are you human too”, where he plays to opposite characters simultaneously at times… , this drama requires a bit of patience to enjoy as the first few episodes don’t give credit to the story., which is really great / rewarding

      You should really give it a further try 🙂
      The first few episodes give not credit to the storyline which gets better and better has it goes. I almost stopped after the first 2 ep. too, but bc of SKJ I decided to be just a bit more curious… and it was really rewarding…

A good drama is not only good because of the storyline, filming, editing, casting… but also thanks to the OST…
Here are some of my favorites:

The Red Sleeve …
A masterpiece. From the very first minutes of this drama, I knew that this one was one of its kind… but I never expected that it would move me so deeply… I don’t know how long the withdrawal from it will take. I knew that the additional episode 17 would be heart-wrenching, and cruel in that regard, but such an ending was expected as it is true to the told history … so I hesitated to watch so 17 because there was a good enough closure with ep. 16 and I was not sure I could stand ep.17… and oh my… the actors just poured their hearts in to give us this additional episode… I don’t remember having cried liked that in ages… this is the most beautiful love story drama ever, a masterpiece true to its ambition : a traditional romance sageuk (a genre which I am far from fond of…) not shy about the romance part, which takes the lead over the political part, never lazy and boring here …and Everything in this masterpiece is perfect, from the filming, to the lights, colors, music, acting by the entire cast. There is not one single useless minute… this drama is mesmerizing. It is one of a kind, and I would say it is a relief that not all of them are like that, because this is such an emotional journey that you couldn’t take it and stand it everyday. It is good that there are also less ambitious drama in that regard. This one is a unique gift. Thank you to all who worked on it …
