So. Let’s talk about Reach of Sincerity because OH MY GOODNESS EPISODE 7 & 8. I love how fluffy this show is – I haven’t been this giddy about a couple since INAR finished. Been hearing a lot of people say that there’s not a lot of substance – more fluff than brains. But I think it’s because this story is anchored more on character rather than plot.

These characters are legit good people. They’re coming into this relationship by being honest and as the name suggests, sincere, with each other – no games, no playing hard-to-get. Just them being true to themselves and with each other. And that’s why we find Jung Rok’s process cute – because he /genuinely/ wants to be able to understand her and would take strides to make her special and happy. *sighs where do i get one*

(LDW and YIN’s micro-acting though! The looks, the small smiles – give me moar!)

    Did they complain that? But it has a lot of hearts ❤️, that counts right considering that it’s Touch your Heart. It isn’t Reach for your Brain for a reason.

      HAHAHA. Definitely saw some those comments in the first and second weeks (probably because it came out with other more cerebral dramas). But I’m definitely seeing a lot of love for it now!

    Yesss to this! I love this show because I love the characters – I wouldn’t care for the fluff an ounce if they weren’t with humans that I genuinely loved seeing. They’re smart and straightforward and they and the show never pretend to be something they’re not, and that is why I appreciate it.

      Agree on all points! Not to mention Lee Dong Wook and Yoo Inna doing a really good job with their roles here too. I don’t think the execution would be quite the same if it wasn’t the two playing them.

        Absolutely! But I disagree with the view that we’re watching simply because of their chemistry; rather, their chemistry and acting elevates the sweet story with solid characters already there.
