There are still lots of untold secrets in MUF, but at least everybody got to see each others’ faces! Eunjoo, once again, says it like it is, and Jiwoo’s childish reaction… just breaks my heart
Felt for him. It’s not that his Dad was just absent; he chose to hang out with other kid, instead of him… Of course, reality is more complicated, but this hurts on a deep level.
This drama needs more maknae screen-time!
Sang Shik has single highhandedly made a mess of this family…Jin Sook contributed to 30% and rest 70% is Sang Shik….I mean Jin Sook needed to confront him but why did he take on responsibility for Young Shik without consulting with Jin Sook or being transparent about it…it tore their family apart, was it worth it??
Yes, when EJ started confronting him, I was all in – come on, dude, that’s not something you keep from your wife!
And I think he still hasn’t told everything. Why would he go and live with YS and his kid?- who and where is the kid’s mom?, grandma is possibly deceased by now – but since when?, did SS have to raise YS alone?… There are a lot of unanswered questions, and the only reason SS’s family didn’t grill him yet is because they are too shocked
Also, in the preview for ep 11, they tease that there’s more to this story… Can’t wait to find out!
Eun Joo was too blunt but she made good points, I think Eun Joo had to take the hardest hit in all of this and having to provide for her family during her 20s..yes, its implied in South Asian culture to step up for your family but now she knows, things could be different and they didn’t have to live such a hard life and that’s gotta sting where there is an open wound already
