I’m on ep 2 of Start-Up and don’t get why Ji-Pyeong didn’t just meet Dal Mi himself and said he used a pen name back then. Isn’t it easier and less messy that way?
Regardless, I REALLY hope they don’t make Ji-Pyeong a second lead with a broken heart. He could be a great brother figure. Not all childhood relationships turn romantic ~~~
I think it would be too incongruous. He said he was the same age as Dal-mi, he said he won a mathematical olympiad, etc. She thought he was the kid in the newspaper; if she saw what he actually looked like when he was younger, she would’ve felt deceived. Who knows what else in those letters was fabricated.

I wondered the same thing.. short answer is… it wouldn’t be a drama if it’s not a complicated mess 😅
