I’m sure all you Shinhwa fans probably already know this, but rapper and actor Eric just opened his personal homepage today (Dec. 3), and for once it’s not just a cyworld “mini-hompy.” Visit the site at www.munchonghyok.com (which is an unconventional way of spelling his Korean name, but whatever floats his boat).
Till now, he’s been using Shinhwa’s official site to post news, but he’s finally opened his own site. (Shinhwa’s upcoming album should be big news in 2008, as it’s their ninth studio album in their ten years together.)
Although I think the site should kill the cheesy music, it looks pretty chic and spiffy. Kinda like Eric himself. Check out caps and pics after the cut.

I agree about the cheese factor. I suppose he should be given credit for *trying* really, really, hard to look cute. But I am curious as to why he can’t look at the camera for photos. Out of all the bajillion photos above, I think there’s one he’s actually looking at the camera.

I really like some of the pictures. My favorite has to be the one with the glasses on. He looks very chic there.
The ones with jeans and a black shirt – He is very comfortable in those pictures. I like the carefree-ness of it.
The pic of him standing on the highway- I like that picture a lot. There is something about him in that pic.
No matter how sexy he tries to be, I can still see the weird and dorky Eric. I love that guy! I miss his Kang Tae Joo hair though….

I think it’s a huge turn-off when you see your favorite actor smoking whether on or off cam. If he was my crush, he just lost a lot of points.
the cheesy songs are intrumental tracks from Minwoo, Hyesung and Dongwan’s solo albums… I think he was just trying to show that he is, no matter how many solo projects he do, always a part of Shinhwa.

I am glad to read all these negative responses about seeing their fav actors/singers smoking. Seriously, I find that Korean mags glorified smoking and I would think the stars would be a bit more responsible, EVEN IF they smoke in real life. Same with Gong Yoo, he is always photographed in some stylised smoking stance :p…sigh…But u know what, I don’t understand what’s the attraction of Eric, is it the name? He always kinda looks gruffy and unkempt to me…
