Thank you, WITH S2, I've just started learning Korean and all your subtitles are really helpful :) When it comes to hardsubbing and posting it in the net.. I hope you won't face any problems and it all comes to an end very soon, maybe your strict rules were made for good? Before that, I had no idea that streaming sites could be causing troubles to anyone beside the uploading person /I mean closing their accounts/. Now I do. Sorry that it's a little bit late. Happy birthday, please keep up the good work, we'll do our best to be harmless fans of your subbing :)

I really appreciate for everything you've done, whithout fansubbers WITH S2 the fans (including me) wouldn't have a great time with kdrama. It's really sad for those who don't want to understand your difficult situation.
To support you guys I actually boycot those sites which use your subs not in a proper way. And I also encourage all other fans to do the same.
Hopefully 2008 will be a better year ^_^

lingling22 - Er, can I just ask you to hold you horses on the Clubbox thing please? There are quite a few of us who are Mac users and cannot access clubbox, ya know? I have been downloading from either torrent or Veoh (I promise only the raws, I do not even go and look at the Chinese subbed ones ... nods head vigorously with hand up). Occasionally, when I cannot find the torrent file, I resort to Sendpace because Megaupload hates my country.

So ... you see the problem now? Still, I do not know what the solution is to stop people from jeopardising things for all of us. I guess depending on human decency, cooperation & common sense is too uncommon to ask ...

When i first starting watching KDrama on our local t.v. station, it was like having a relaxing drink of beer. Enjoyable, comfortable , and satisfying. As my addiction grew, I started buying complete box sets from various souces. That was a hit and miss crap shoot. Like getting a bottle "2 bucks chuck" wine, which is pretty good cheap wine to even sometimes wine in a box,which is pretty bad or finding a gem of a merlot. Then i discovered subtitles done by fan sub group WithS2. It was like someone gifted me with a bottle of cristal champagne. I am so happy that you decided to continue to release your fine work. Fan sub groups like you have taken subbing to an art form. and I appreciate it.

Many youngs become addicted to those series since Autumn Tale ^__^ Because of you gals, ppl like me can have an enjoyable time without paying so many DVDs and waiting so long for broadcasting release.

- HAHA one more thing.... Those site like Youtube and Veoh have frequently been banned in Thailand because of so many inappropriate videos and political matter. So I have no chance to watch those series in the streaming sites.
- I heard that KST is planing to sub II Ji Mae SBS version... Will you sub it in KBS version? I am more interested in the latter version because it will be made by the same director and production team of Goong and Goong S. Question !!!???? Is Uploading raw on veoh ok ? The download speed is quite fast and you can download the whole thing at once (don't have to wait for the slots in mega). It matches the subtitles as well. But I wonder if that is okay to you guys

WITHS2, you folks are awesome! I have been appreciating your work for the last 2 years. My college age daughter is taking Korean and has translated for Japanese fansubs and she told me how hard translating is.
On a negative note- I hope I don't add to your headaches if I tell you that I purchased Coffee Prince DVD from DimsumDVDs- who usually have sucky subs- I think from Hong Kong- but I watched ep 1 and the subs were surprisingly good- and then....A WITHS2 banner popped up at the end of ep1 or 2 and I was outraged! Unfortunately I cannot return the DVD but I sent them an email that I will not buy from them ever again- cause they stole the subs! SPREAD THE WORD!PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM DIMSUMDVDs! I am sorry I did!

Wow, that's pretty bad. I was looking all over the place (not online though as I was in a hurry) for Coffee Prince with Eng subs but could find none. I was going to made a gift of it to a student as she's also an avid Korean & Japanese drama fan. But unable to find it, I did not even dare to make a copy of the WITH S2 subbed version for her as I did not want to cause any trouble. Ended up buying her the Chinese subbed version.

These peeps are just too much. Bloody cheeky.

Congratulations to WITH-S2 on their anniversary! I greatly thank them for and admire their hard work and excellent results.
I greatly appreciate the subtitles and firmly believe fansubs like WITH-S2 should have no legal problem translating and distributing their subs, and should have no responsibility for the actions of others who try to capitalize on their work and distribute, stream or sell hardsubs with their sub titles, and should be able to stop those who do so. Moreover, should not these others be able to have the same legal pressure put on them that has been put on WIth-s2? That is, could fan sub groups work with those who object to the streaming and re-direct the heat on the streaming sites and distribution sites like mysoju?
I also wonder why is providing copyrighted raws without subtitles not problematic and not illegal, but providing them combined with subtitles written by others where many countries recognize the translators' copyright problematic? It seems capitalistic market values and fan sub values differ. Personally, I think that the former are often not fair or just, but the latter needs to become somehow (how?) more political to change laws in their favor.

and as for those distributors streaming your subs, maybe you could add a little "do not hardsub these subs" in the middle of the drama (since distributors usually cut out the beginning of the drama with that message) or one of those "if you purchased/watched this online with these subs you have been cheated!" messages?!?!
