Jang Geun-seok held a fanmeeting at Seoul’s Olympic Hall on January 31 with an audience of 3,000 fans. He sang several songs from the soundtrack of his last drama, You’re Beautiful, such as “Without Words,” “Goodbye,” and “Promise.” But he didn’t stop there, performing additional popular hits like Seo Taiji and the Boys’ old-school classic “I Know,” Rain’s “It’s Raining,” and 2PM’s “Heart Beat.”
As previously announced, Jang will soon be embarking on a four-stop Asian tour, as he travels to China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore from March through May.

The lighting effects give these shots a nice flair, and the hair-in-motion has a cool effect. Not so sure about the Liza Minnelli pose.
But Geeky Jazz-Hands Jang Geun-seok has to be my favorite, with the jodhpur pants and the dorky glasses and the hunchback stance.

Wow. Well, one certainly can’t accuse Jang Geun-seok of being boring or predictable…and he does have a certain flair goin’ on, along with that X factor. All in all, he’s definitely a star. And I’ll bet that his fans loved every minute of it.
Hey, do you guys remember that other article that JB posted, showing JGS wearing that jacket with the pointy, padded shoulder “horns”? His fifth Japanese fanmeeting? Remember all the comments that followed? Well, my wife and I recently picked up the dvd, “Michael Jackson’s This Is It”, and watched it the other night. Amazing dvd, and a must-see for anyone who’s a true MJ fan(RIP, Michael). Anyway, in it there’s some footage showing the late, great MJ wearing a very similar jacket! With the exact same pointy, padded shoulder horns!
His energy projects out even through the stills! What a lovely treat for his fans. I wonder if the event was sold-out. I hope so because that is one hell of a fanmeet-production.

There appears to be a pattern to male bodies in K-entertainment. Men below 25 tend to be more “boyish” — with thin/slim physiques that are not that toned, and with an overall appearance that is pale, wan, and effete (which is the way I like my entertainment men, so I am happy…).
The men over 25, and certainly the ones in their 30s, have ripped, toned bodies, with six-pack abs, the works. They also tend to be tanned.
Assuming that Jang Keun Suk has a long-lasting career (and I can’t imagine why he would not), I imagine that as he approaches his 30s, he’ll start to bulk up.
So for someone who likes her men feminized (and eccentric), I hope JKS keeps the body he has now for a while.
Out of all the packaged men in k-entertainment (the younger ones seem particularly processed and factory-made), JKS seems the most authentic.

@ 23 he was muscular when in b.virus..but had to shed weight and with it muscles for the idol image in yab…lost abt 7 kgs i hear…so i think he is just experimenting here and sticking with the TK look for sometime…think when a role requires him to bulk up he def would…personally i think this look suits him better than the bulky one so im not complaining..so bring on those girly looking fab abs i say….
