As announced last week, Yoon Eun-hye is making a cameo appearance on MBC’s Personal Taste, and recently shot her scenes. The stills were released on the 19th and depict her unplanned reunion with Lee Min-ho, her ex.
Yoon Eun-hye plays “Eun-soo” (a change from the previously reported “Eun-hye”) in these scenes, filmed at a movie cinema in Ilsan on April 18. She and Jin-ho (Lee Min-ho) dated in their university days, after which she went to Johns Hopkins University and became a doctor. In the episode, Eun-soo runs into Jin-ho as the latter is about to buy movie tickets with Kae-in. News of this former relationship gives Kae-in a hint as to Jin-ho’s actual status as a straight man — although knowing her, I bet she’ll write it off as mere college experimentation or some such. (Love her, but she’s not exactly the sharpest knife, is she?)
You probably recall that Yoon Eun-hye had almost been the lead in this project when it was first announced. She said of taking the guest spot, “Because I had been looking with interest at Personal Taste, I readily agreed to do the cameo.”

as much as i like yoon eun-hye as an actress, i’m actually really glad that Son Ye Jin is actually Kae-in. I can’t see YEH showing the vulnerability and whimsy combo that is crucial to the Kae-in character. plus, YEH looks a little too mature and professional to play someone so naive about love (which is weird cause she’s younger than SYJ). just my opinion because i think Son Ye Jin is still the best thing about Personal Taste right now. overall, things happen for a reason…castings change for a reason, and i’m happy with the result concerning this show.

Even I like SYJ but Minho looks totally good with YEH, even SYJ got makeover in one of episode she stills look old with Minho. YEH can rocks this PT if she act as Kaein and perfect chemistry with Minho, I can’t wait for Thursday.
sorry but i have more faith in SYJ’s acting skills than YEH, though i honestly like YEH as well. SYJ knows how to do cute without being annoyingly dumb and getting on our nerves. I love her sly expression whenever she thinks she is smart like when she busts Jinho’s ‘lie’ that he doesn’t remember anything that he said cos he was drunk. And SYJ doesn’t look old to me, she is still beautiful.

I like YEH too — however, I think SYJ is perfect for her role as Kae-In and I just can’t imagine YEH doing a better job. But – I think YEH looks great here in this ex-gf role… great hair. Maybe LMH & YEH will get another chance to act together in the future.

I’m really enjoying Personal Taste right now; it’s my first pick for the Wed-Thurs dramas. LMH and SYJ are doing a fantastic job and the show is just hilarious. Can’t wait for this weeks episodes to come out!
I think YEH looks better with Min Ho, age and all. However… Hands down SYJ has the better acting skills by far for this. I can’t see YEH picking up on the nuances of the dense vulnerable and yet still lovable and not TOTALLY dim character. But maybe they with luck will act together someday.
I have yet to encounter doctors as beautiful as YEH… I must keep a look-out while I’m on campus.

I’m hoping netizens will like this cameo appearance and request for YEH and LMH to be in a drama together. Casting SYJ as Kae In will never be a mistake. Scratch that. Casting SYJ in any role will never be a mistake. But I love YEH’s hair here.

After finishing ep5-6, I love the drama but the problems were still there WITH the editing. Can they do better? Please improve your editing.
As for YEH , I think she will give a different kind of Kae-In but should be fun too.

I think towards the end of this drama where all emotions come in when Kae-In learn the truth, with complex relationships ,SYJ will be perfect for the role because of her acting experiences.

Quite different from {The Woman Who Still Wants To Marry} – where they keep shoving that 10 yr age gap in our faces … and yet the sparks were apparent between a 20-something Kim Bum and a 30-something Park Jin-hee.
I was another who didn’t buy into how Kae-in looked after her makeover. Yes pretty (how could SYJ ever look anything but?) … but in a frumpy-ish kind of way.
Lee Min-ho on the other hand looks contemporary casual-smart edgy.
Same way Yeh Eun-hye is looking.

I’m still amazed someone as gorgeous and feminine as her could pull off Eun Chan in Coffee Prince. When you see her looking like that, you wonder just HOW she managed to look the part. She really is an amazing actress.
And God does she look good next to sexy uncurled Min Ho.

even though SYJ deliver her acting.. even compared with chemistry between LMH n GHS… the chemistry between SYJ n LMH is really lacking…
not to mention problem with the directing, lighting ( the house scenes always feel like studio), soundtrack…
hope after this LMH will choose his project and his drama partner more wisely… i think he is not ready to play around with the role. Therefore if the director is not good enough.. the result is what we seen in PT. (in contrast, CS may have better director as the result : with typical Kdrama storyline, but highly praised by the viewer).
I think if SYJ is paired with Lee Byung Hun.. the chemistry might be shown better… LBH may interpret the role more sexily

All right, since that’s directed at me — my answer is that people DON’T have to necessarily choose one over the other. Those counted in the household ratings do, but the vast majority have options that extend beyond picking just one. I understand this compulsion to directly compare the two dramas since they’re airing at the same time, but as a fan of both series, I hate when people try to create this artificial tension like I’m supposed to only like one or the other.
Also, an actor can have chemistry with more than one actress, so I don’t see how the mention of Gu Hye-sun is relevant. Personal Taste has flaws and is also entertaining. Cinderella’s Sister also has flaws and is entertaining.
